Toby Fox is a famous music composer and game developer. Known for his work on Undertale, Deltarune and Homestuck. He’s worked on Smash Ultimate and Pokémon Sword and Shield as well as Scarlet and Violet. Megalovania is not just an Undertale song either. He used it first in a rom hack of Earthbound for the final boss, then in Homestuck during the animation [S] Wake (definitely recommend), then in Undertale as San’s boss theme.

In Gen 2, once you beat the league you can go back to the Gen 1 region and fight everyone there too. After all that you go fight the Gen 1 protagonist on the peak of Mt. Silver. Dope sequel.

It's also questionable whether or not Red is actually dead since he just disappears after you beat him and he can't be found anywhere else in the game... like, maybe he couldn't find Mew to complete his pokedex and he climbed Mount Silver to train his pokemon only for something to happen to him on his way up? Considering the fact that every other time Red is seen in the games is technically in an alternate universe certainly doesn't help to clear this up.

Gen 5 wasn't an alternate universe

@@mystrenula3911 Every individual version is. It’s literally a plot point in the Delta Episode and Ultra Sun and Moon. The theory is that Red in Gen 5 isn’t the same Red we know as he should’ve been 28. Though it’s more likely GameFreak just reused his 14 year old model from the Gen 4 remakes of Gen 2.

As another person who didn't know about shinies until I encountered one, I must share my story. This was like 15 years ago when I was in high school (yes, I am old), I obsessively played Pokémon Fire Red between the end of school and rehearsal for a musical we were doing in choir (I also played it on the way to and from performances) and one day I found a shiny Zubat (which I stg was black but Zubat's shiny is green), I thought, "that's weird. I should catch that cause it's different!" So I caught it. Literally THE NEXT POKÉMON was a lighter colored Geodude. By this point I thought something was wrong with my game but I didn't shut it off like /some people/. I wanted to catch the Geodude, too, but was out of Pokéballs 😭 I didn't want to kill it, though, so I ran away thinking I might run into it again someday (cause I was a dumb teen who didn't know how RPG encounters work 🙃). Later, while talking to my best friend/crush who knows a lot more than me, he told me about shiny Pokémon and how rare they are (remember, this was a gen 3 shiny) and just how insanely rare it was for me to find 2 IN A ROW. Especially since I didn't even know shinies existed at the time 😆 I had the shiny Zubat on my team, eventually evolved it into a Crobat but the cartridge isn't in my collection of Gameboy games so it's been lost to time 😣 I'll always remember, though...

My Favorite Shiny is Roselia/Roserade, becouse it was my first Shiny ever! I also love that it is like an ACE Flag, with the black and violett roses. (Not caunting that Pachirisu in my Teens, becouse i didnt even know about Shinys back than and deleted the game 🫣)

If you want to see how little different some of the Shinies have, look up "Paldean Tauros" shiny. It's _barely_ different in color, so much so that people have actually hunted for it using the _texture of the mane_ instead.

In my Silver playthrough back in the day half my team was shiny. I got a Sentret on the first route, I got Sudowoodo in like 20ish resets and I used the red Gyarados on my team.

My first shiny was a koffing that I vaguely remember finding on a website while playing gen 2. After that I found a meditite in zubat roost in x and y ironically looking for a zubat. Found a shiny before I found a single zubat. Then I was working on a professor oak challenge of x and y and found 2 shiny riolu, shiny azurill, and a shiny bidoof in the first section while I found a shiny trapinch later on. The only other ones I've found were in scarlet, being a shiny rookidee and a shiny rockruff.

OH 21:45 Ye found this out with a friend watching their black and white nuzlocke, we started the game, professor juniper sends out her minccino.... and its SHINY! There's a legit chance for npcs to have shinies and it's always wild! (my friend had another instance of the tutorial catch pokemon being shiny, truly the pain was indescribable)
