The reason the Predator’s explosion has a 40 second countdown is because they’re only supposed to use it when they’ve lost to an honorable opponent. They’re not supposed to use it to kill the opponent, they use it to give themselves an honorable death while removing all evidence of them being there, while also giving their worthy for the chance to get away.

Something they didn't go over was how Predators record and playback words spoken by those they hunt, and we actually see the Predator do this twice in the fight: The first being right before Boba loses his arm "you're mine", and the second is right before he self destructs. "Fools." Predator's last word was Boba's first.

Boba's line (which we've actually heard as the punchline from Boomstick in his DeathBattle with Samus Aran) is, "You can run, but you'll only die tired."

The main reason they don't make ships out of that metal is because after the empire purged the Mandalorian planet (by bombing and burning) it was a VERY rair metal to find. Future mandalorians had to add other metals to their armor because there wasn't enough beskar to make a full set. Even before the purge, there wouldn't be enough for an entire ship.

On top of that, while Beskar is stupid strong, it does have a limit so the few times the Mandalorians did made ships out of it in Legends, they could still be destroyed by a heavy enough hit. The metal is also tough to work and takes a lot more time than even starship grade durasteel. Making armor out of it is one thing and can be done especially if you do each piece seperately. Making a whole starship is on a whole different scale.

@@theduckgoesmoo Beskar is only found on Mandalore, and only Mandalorian armorsmiths know the secrets of forging it. They die before they give up the secrets. Without a Mandalorian to forge it the correct way, using the metal to make armor makes it useless. It gets none of Beskar's tough qualities, and is worse than most metals for armor. Since Beskar can stop a lightsaber, Mandalorians taught their students that had hand to hand proficiency how to go into Berserker mode so that even Jedi mind tricks would be unable to influence them. Beskar was forged into many different things, including a Beskad, which is a cross between a machete and short sword, and even a razor sharp flute that could be used as a stabbing weapon. I read a joke somewhere that in the Mandalorian language, they have like nine different words for "Stab."

Fun Fact: The Original Trilogy mentioned "The Clone Wars", but at the time, no one knew what it was. A Marvel comic said that one of the conflicts had an army of Boba Fetts fighting, which is oddly close to what actually happened, 6:00 A tv Christmas special of Star Wars. The DB pred didn’t act like an elder nor was equipped like one. One key factor giving it away was the Predator making a trophy out of Boba’s hand, they would only get excited at a small victory like that if it was their first hunt.

The holiday special is a fever dream of a Christmas special, that you would need a good amount of alcohol to get through. Basically it's about how Chewbacca is trying to get home to his family for space Christmas. There is VERY little spoken dialog that you can understand, and Carrie fisher (who played Leia) was high when she was in it I believe to just get through her parts that she was in.

This isn't the Raiden from Mortal Kombat, this Raiden is from Metal Gear Rising Revengeance, which is a spin off to Metal Gear Solid 4 if I remember correctly, but This Raiden was also in a Death Battle with Wolverine too, so he's a returning death battle candidate. The game itself came out back in 2013 for Playstation 3, but it's also available on steam too

As a fan of both MGR and Warframe; this next DB is really exciting to me. Excalibur is an awesome warframe and really good, even though it's a starter frame. I assume they'll probably use the stats for a stronger version of Ex, rather than the base, like Prime or Umbra. Warframe is really awesome and often worth a try. It's one of the few games whose monetization method is actually really good.

I am curious if they are doing base Excalibur, prime, or umbra. I would def like to see more Warframes used like Rhino. I liked warframe with the old vault farming havent played a ton of it since most of the people i played with stopped after that change. Theres several factors I am curious about though for instance is Excalibur getting sentinels or other pets for this battle. What mod set up are they going for power, duration, range etc. Is Excalibur allowed to use guns as well if so which ones and are they kuva stuff like that I feel could change the playing field. However I am going to assume they are just using his sword. I don't know much about Raiden though besides of what was mentioned in the last battle of his. I think Rhino from warframe vs Rhino from Marvel could be interesting.

And I'm sure they'll include guns because the point is to show off weapons and both can use guns and melee. I assume they'll use braton prime and skana prime and maybe one or two flashier weapons to keep the fight interesting.

What it meant by survived debuting in the holiday special is simple. In 1978, one year after the release of the first Star Wars film, The Star Wars Holiday Special was released, and Boba Fett's made his first appearance in that holiday special. Problem is that the holiday special is an abomination, it was so bad George Lucas (The creator of this franchise) wanted it destroyed, he wanted the world to forget that this holiday special actually existed. Boba Fett however was really liked, infact he was the only thing in the special that people actually liked, so they had him return in the next film. That's why they put that as a feat, the fact that he debuted in one of if not the most despised piece of official Star Wars media to ever exist.

The one from Mortal Kombat *is* spelt the same way but it’s pronounced similarly to the Chinese Léidiàn which sounds similar to Ray-den. Beskar is actually strong enough to withstand lightsaber strikes but the fact that beskar can withstand thermal detonators is actually more impressive because thermal detonators at least in the EU ( pre disney ) are actually handheld thermo-nuculear grenades basically handheld nukes that vaporize everything in their blast radius and some of them have a blast radius of 100 feet.

that robot's hero is HK-47 a character from the Knights Of The Old Republic or KOTOR games he's basically an assassin droid build by the sith lord Darth Revan who refers to organic life as meat bags who, In KOTOR 2 gives a whole tutorial on killing Jedi which can be summarized as... -Don't plan whatso ever, -Project very strong emotions, -Think about something completely unrelated to the fight -Ensure the Jedi doesn't know you're there, -Attack the Jedi's allies -avoid blasters like the plague, to quote the droid himself "If I see one more idiot attack a Jedi with a blaster pistol, then I'll kill them myself" -use flamethrowers, grenades, mines, rockets, basically if it explodes or involves fire, it'll work -only use gas attacks as a distraction -if your engaging the Jedi directly, your doing it wrong -if your a force sensitive, don't even bother -if your doing it alone, your doing it wrong and finally, if your doing during peace time, be prepared for a much harder time

The flames at the end of the fight shouldn’t have messed with Pred’s vision since the mask was off - they only struggle to see when they wear thier hunting masks and use heat vision. Even if he still had the mask on, predators have multiple types of vision, and he could’ve easily switched to another such as the Heartbeat Sensor from Predator 2. And as most would probably agree, Fett’s victory would depend on the type of predator he’s facing. Newly Blooded predators would be mostly inexperienced, Ancients would be a very tough battle on par with fighting a Jedi/Sith for Boba, while Bad Bloods would’ve had far more dirty tricks up thier sleeves for Fett since they have no code of honour by which they hunt, as anything goes.

Don't know if anyone said it but they are using one of the Elder Predators the one that has 1000s of years of fighting and The Predators vision goes mainly off of Heat Sensory but by taking way the heat u take away its vision or in this case spread fire like crazy

Beskar isn't invincible but after prolonged exposure to a lightsaber's plasma does effect the metal and before Disney's acquisition of the franchise, the "Mandalorian" race was originally similar to the Predators but every powerful fighter or captured race was intrigrated to the race making it more of culture then species so at least to me, it's like a modern human fighting one of our own ancestors in that sense

As an Excal main, I feel obligated to inform everyone that Excalibur’s Exalted Blade has a built-in energy wave with a 40 meter punch-through. Even if Raiden had something to block the sword, he’d still take an Exalted Wave to the face. I’m calling it here: Raiden is gonna freaking die! This is my official prediction, Duck!

They're both tremendously strong, and apparently both of them have attacking potential vastly outstripping their ability to take a hit. This is going to be basically a single-stroke battle. Whoever lands one good hit first wins, in glorious fashion.

The clones aren't Mandolorians. They were cloned from a Mandolorian and their armor was modeled after them. However it is more of a culture and lifestyle than a species. This largely wasn't passed onto the clones.
