I forget which episode I came in on with this, but patience is finally paying off. Only two more weeks till Broly. Two points specifically I'm looking forward to for reactions. My favorite batch of Vegeta dialogue in all of DBZA and those that know can probably guess the scene unique to Broly Abridged. Also, in Hetaps and any other company's defense , the Dragon Balls ARE only an slightly obscure legend. And the SS thing, they basically transformed (which uses a ton of energy just to do), did some light sparing, then went to bed and woke up still SS as if it WAS their baseline form, so all that energy wasted on transforming can just be put into training making their base SS strength and speed much much higher.

Before this episode I never realized that Piccolo & Vegeta never actually fought it crazy. Goku making fun of his friends reaction to his power is hilarious perfect Vegeta impression. Mr Popo & Goku’s relationship is also one of my favorite parts of the show.. hearing 16’s hatred for Goku so blatantly is kinda jarring considering how sweet & calm he usually is. I almost cried the first time I watched Gohan ask Piccolo for a matching gi such a beautiful example of their relationship

This is the ability that lets Kami and Guru create the Dragon Balls, and is the same concept Piccolo uses to materialize clothes. To be fair though, season 1 was kind of rough. A lot of the jokes feel dated because they're based more on memes or pop culture rather than jokes about Dragon Ball itself, and the voice acting and editing were both clear indication that Team Four Star had a lot of kinks to work out.
