You overhyped it, not even close to Secret Stairways, and even that doesn't top Depressive Silence, this is pretty standard early stuff, nice but still quite simple and repetitive and less emotionally powerful than ss or ds, which isn't to say bad, it's really nice but not as nice as you said.
