Nice video. I’m new to Thee Oh Sees, starting last year. Smote Reverser was the first album I bought on the release day in at least 25 years. I’ve got 6 of their LPs (with Face Stabber on the way) today. This video is a handy guide to which albums I’ll be looking to buy next.

Anyone wondering about that feeling of something missing on Drop, my understanding is that John Dwyer recorded that entire album himself, with no band.

I remember Dwyer announcing Thee Oh Sees were going to have a break, but months later Drop was released. It was recorded with a different group of people including Chris Woodhouse (who's worked on loads of Dwyers projects) and Mikal Cronin to name a few. I don't think this band ever played live as it was short lived, they then released 'Mutilator Defeated at Last' which marked the begging of the current Osees lineup and sound.

this dude really has almost every album except for the fact that he buys the colored version and the black version of these , its not about the colors its about the music.
