I was torn between Sabbath Mood and Queen homeschool Biology. I ended up choosing Queen homeschool paired with the Biology 101 videos, and Kristin Moon science labs. I’d be curious how it goes for your son.☺️

Thinking of switching to Saxton math. I want to buy either a 1st, 2nd or 3rd edition copy. What all do I need for one student (textbook, teacher manual, test booklet, etc.)?

Maybe he’s past this point, but there are some great creative writting books out there! Sounds like he likes to read and write.

Yes for sure! He did a high school writing curriculum when he was in 7th grade! He’s a better writer than I am! Haha

Love all the books. Does your son just basically read and then do a summary of what he reads? How do you grade this type of class?

@@rettpanda6203 Yes! My oldest has done several of the Constitution and Politics courses! He loved them!

@@rettpanda6203 I don’t think they’re enough for a credit on their own, unless you did multiple that could apply to the same subject, but I definitely used them as part of our resources for credits.

I will have two in 9th next year! I’m curious, are you giving your child a letter grade or just a passing credit. I know some people choose one or the other and I’m wondering what the pros and cons are. I’m a little scared for highschool!

I will be doing letter grades so I can calculate a GPA. I want him to be able to have the chance to go to college if he wants to! 😄

why are the books only are about the Greco-roman achievements and the rebirth of the Greco Roman known as the Renaissance MANIFEST DESTINY. why not a book about King Solomon the wisest man to walk the earth beside Christ the Messiah; Christ teaching on what America was built on by Our founding fathers.
