Alexandre "Sacha" Distel (29 January 1933 - 22 July 2004). Distel died of cancer at the age of 71 on 22 July 2004. He spoke French, Russian, English, Italian and Hebrew.

Sacha Distel was managed by Claude Wolff, Petula Clark's husband. Being the composer of The Good Life makes upmfor his lacluster Raindrops. He certainly was good looking.

So smarmy and ridiculous. It's stuff like this that killed the Ed Sullivan Show. On TV since the 1940's, within less than 2 years of this, the show would be cancelled.
