Last month this channel received lots of praise for finally airing the entire October 1966 medley in one video and now they are doing the same with the May 1966 appearance. A great gesture to us James Brown fans and to music fans in general. Thank you ES Channel!

I didn't even know it was a full set. I always thought he did the first medley then came back later in the show to perform the 2nd half with It's a Man's World & Please Please Please

Ed Sullivan show, historic, groundbreaking. I wasn't around when it was on but come on😮it was like launching rockets into space when you think about artists who appeared on it

There are a few figures in the music and entertainment industry that just were so amazing and unique at the same time, James Brown is near the top of that list. There will never be anyone who can come anywhere close to Brown.

Just in my opinion, I always felt that MJ was influenced by JB but didn't necessarily steal James's move...I would say Prince did more "copying" ofJB's moves, but I love Prince too...

I love this video but the best was the Tammi show when Mick Jagger made the fatal mistake I wanted to go last James was moving so fast they had to slow the film down he told Mick hey follow that and Mick had all the audience removed and new ones place now that's SOUL POWER!!!!???
