Was there as a 10 year old Swindon Town fan. I don’t know how you can call us cheats. We played some beautiful football, just as we had done for that entire season. Our passing game was the best in the league that season. At 3-0 we never expected a comeback to 3-3. It was an amazing comeback, I still remember the feeling to this day when Leicester’s 3rd went in. Leicester played such brilliant football, and in the end it came down to a penalty, but unless you were there you will never truly understand how special of a game it was, the best atmosphere of any game I’ve ever been to.

When Leicester equalised there was only going to be one winner and then a hopeful punt upfield and Swindon forward in the centre of two defenders and goalkeeper,isn’t touched by any of them and dives

@@nickthefox72 actually it was Craig Maskell who was offside, Shaun Taylor scored the header, Maskell didn't touch it so it was 100% onside. As for Steve White's dive, yeah unfortunately that's what he was brought on to do but I wouldn't say it was anywhere near the worst in football history. You can't take anything away from Swindon's first 2 goals from Hoddle and Maskell, they were superb. Leicester had the last laugh in the long run, a far better Premiership record than Swindon's.

I was there as a 11 year old city fan. The atmosphere when we equalized was unbelievable! The old wembley was an amazing ground. There was a mystic about the place, the history of the place was seeped into the very concrete. The feeling of going to wembley I don't think can be the same these days. As a kid seeing the twin towers from a distance was an amazing feeling.

Absolutely. I was there as a 15 year old Swindon Town fan, the old Wembley was magic. (Swindon undefeated at old Wembley) The new Wembley just isn't the same (Nothing to do with the fact we've been there three times, lost three times and not scored a single goal! :) )

I was there. I'm a Leicester fan, and when Steve Thompson scored our 3rd the celebrations and noise were off the scale. When I see the penalty decision it still hurts. I think VAR may have called a dive by White.

Derek C or the clear foul by Joachim on the keeper for your second goal. That’s more of a terrible decision than giving the penalty

Michael Bateman well, it probably wasn’t a foul in those days but it certainly would be now. No, he doesn’t have to get out of the way but he deliberately impedes him. Sorry, but if you’re claiming it wasn’t a penalty then I can certainly make a case for Joachim’s foul. Anyway, who’s cares, we won, I had the best day ever. Unlucky!
