Very interesting. I don't have a diagnosis (yet) but I have EDS, surely, since puberty, because I look back and can track, especially, my stomach- and eating problems. I have tried a ketogenic diet since 2008, which is very soothing, and especially with fasting up to 14 days. If I eat small meals, with protein and fat, I feel normal. I've had problems with my gut being too fast, not vomiting, but diarrea after only an hour after a meal. This caused nutrition deficiencies. I have also worked on my sleep, my calmness, a lot of "zen", and betablockers at a low dose, since my heart races. Other problems are the low intense humming of pain from every part of my body. It's never ever quite. I also react badly to all drugs, including alcohol. During surgery and dental work I haven't been fully anesthetized, so that's been a couple of traumas. But mostly it's been the mistrust from my family and my doctors. I chose to go zen, anyway. I don't have time to be angry, I'm 67 years old. Thanks, dr Katja, for your work.
