Crandall never apologize for your content. ❤ You feed your family and pay your bills. No one has the right to tell you how to do it. I was hunting and fishing with my dad at the age of 3. I love that you include Maverick. ❤ We only ate smaller pigs. A lot better tasting. Yes teach your boys early. You should get meat chickens too. ❤ I appreciate how positive you always are.

It cracks me up that so many people would be upset because you are trapping the feral hogs that damage your property. Of course many of the comments are coming from people that have no idea of the damage the hogs can do. So glad your trap worked and for the safety of your family they are gone.

Maverick is sure growing up. This boy is getting really good recording for you. His vocabulary and emphasis on certain words is pretty impressive. He cracked me up when he was talking about the storage container and how he's got to get his toys in there. You're teaching him many skills that are important for him to have when you live on a farm. No matter where your farm is there's always going to invasive and sometimes deadly animals to deal with. You have been protecting your family from some of the most venomous snakes. One was waiting right outside your door. As Lester would say, "I sent it to the sweet by and by!"

Crandall thank you for the heads up on the hog trap footage. There's no way I'm going to miss this!! I have seen the destruction the hogs leave in their wake. I've watched other channels that address the same issue. Shirtless Jake showed his pasture torn up by them. It's like having rats like you said.

I am thrilled with the way you are raising Maverick to love the animals as well as teach him how to "dispatch" the pigs & show him where his meat comes from. I was raised on a dairy farm, but our neighbors hunted deer, so I knew all about hunting & growing our own food & meat. However I am NOT able to actually shoot to kill, so I do thank you for not showing the actual "dispatching" of the pigs. I did not mind seeing them already dead, though. For future use, contact Daniel Arms from Arms Family Homestead. He has a friend who will come take the pigs & sell them to a ranch for hunting & they both live there in Oklahoma. Daniel lives in Sulphur, but I am not sure where the other guy lives. Good job on this batch of pigs & good luck on catching more!

Don’t apologize, i am sure if anyone who complains was in your shoes or your neighbors shoes, they would do the same! They are mean and aggressive and ruin vegetation, and cost tons of money to those they come across. You’re doing a fine job of raising your boys, don’t ever doubt yourself.

Crandall you better ask your vet about that wild pork. I have been told not to feed pork to dogs.
@nanf58363 ай бұрын
Yes meat from wild animals can be dangerous for dogs. We raw fed our dogs and it takes more than just meat to make a healthy diet for them. All wild meats should be frozen for at least 30 days so if there is any thing in the meat that can be harmful to the dogs is gotten rid of before they eat it. Our dogs had issues with only one type of meat and that was pork. We did not feed any wild game. We bought the same meat that we eat at the store. They mostly had chicken. Along with the meat they had ground veggies like beets, green or wax beans, spinach, swiss chard and squash. They got pureed pumpkin every morning as that is good to help keep their digestive system working properly. Our niece is a vet so she went over the diet we had for the dogs. NEVER feed corn to dogs. It is causes lots of issues. Corn is added to kibble cause it is a cheap filler. Dogs do not get anything out of corn except lots of poop. I pray that Crandall does his research on feeding dogs and consults his vet.
@danabell78633 ай бұрын
@@nanf5836 that is not true either. I feed my dog venison & have bought high end dog food with different game in it. However you will not find a dog food with pork. My nephew was hunting wild pigs here in TX & was feeding the meat to his dog. He took the dog to the vet for something unrelated & mentioned he was feeding wild Hog. Vet told him not to feed pork of any kind to dogs.

@nanf58363 ай бұрын
I was more scared of him standing in the front seat while riding in the truck. No car seat and not buckled in. Most accidents happen very close to home. The excuse this time that they were on their own land riding in the truck can not be used as they passed by other buildings along the way.
