I have had one of these up on a 40 foot tower since 2015 and its still working. To my knowledge there isnt anything wrong with it. I meter it once a year or so and SWR hasnt changed since the day it was put up there. Im moving to a new QTH here this year and just ordered a new one for there. After 10 years of being up I wont reuse it but at least I know ill get 10 years of service out of the new one. I didnt do anything special when putting it together I screwed everything together and gave it to my tower guy and he went up and bolted it on.

@jeremeytaylor2433 That is awesome. This is my second one, too, and the original one is still going they are very well-made antennas and perform wonderfully. I stand behind saying they are one the best dual band base antennas out there.

Say do you use any Vaseline on to the coax connectors or the antenna center connector for waterproofing or use any self-amalgamating tape?

I don't put anything in the connector but I do seal it with Rubber Sealing Tape I use coax seal tape but any good rubber based tape works great than I cover it with electrical tape. I just recently moved my antenna that had been in the same place for 20 years and that tape was still flexible and there was no moisture in the connection... This is the type tape to protect it. amzn.to/40qp0q2
