torontothegood yes she did, but I work with a lot of Koreans at my job and it is custom to them to introduce themselves and usually (at least with the group here at my work ) you don't typically shake their hand, you stand face to face and give a slight bow literally like 15 degree still making face contact. If the person is more elderly you bow with more of an angle. etc etc. Probably didn't explain it the best but anyway.. . I saw him start to do that but everybody started reaching hands which is what WE are accustomed to.

Actually, fun fact - She is British. Well, her heritage anyways. Her Grandmother was born in the UK, and moved to the US when she was young. Her mother's maiden name is Bridges, and its on her mom's side. :)

I think this is a good example showing how different american culture is with asian cultures. Asians are typically very formal and polite in public whereas americans are more laid back and can be however they want. Not that either one is good or bad, im asian and american so lol just different.
