Funny for the first 10 minutes I’m thinking to myself, I hope they get weighed. Two other things for you and forgive if already mentioned. You should loom the wires on your roof and think about some vents or louvers where your inverter goes. You guys are the most handy people I’ve seen. Keep up the great work!

I recommend baby drawer locks on all the drawers or they will open while driving. You may need two for the fridge

Ya, we forgot to mention that we actually added one to the fridge slide already, but we'll definitely need them for all the other doors/draws. ATM, we're juts holding them shut with rubber bands 😅

Get the synthetic wood for the shower! Looks just like wood and you can get a variety of colors includinga light pine style, "Coowin 3D wood plastic composite panel/wall siding", it's completely waterproof, goes on like clapboard/siding (so no exposed nail holes for water to get through or have to seal up), environmental friendly, over 5 year warranty. Also make sure to add a bar across the shelve so you can store shampoo, etc there without it falling out while driving and a couple dividers to keep stuff in place without sliding back and forth! Loving the look and the job you guys are doing and the blue looks cool in the kitchen. You're probably gonna want to get up to 300-400 watts on your solar panels if you are planning a lot of off grid (no power hookups) camping. P.S.- Get a bottle of Redline's "Water Wetter Super Coolant" to add to the radiator. It can keep the engine temp down 30° which will be helpful with the RV'S weight in hilly/hot areas!

Excellent move on the rebuild. The modular GM small block 350 is a work horse and very capable engine. Be aware that you can only put some much gear in your rig. You really don’t want to over load and older chassis.

So much room! It doesn't look anywhere near what it started out. The colors are spot on and they do look good with the window trim. Was amazed at the bathroom. I agree, a small bathroom sucks on the road. Also, you will save a ton of money not having to use outside bathrooms. It looks like you both learned so much from your dad. I too wonder about that wood tub. It'll be fun to see your secret.

Don't forget ventilation; the cabinets will need it if they are to keep fresh. Try leaving the doors open when you are not on the road, but don't forget to lock them before setting off. Good Luck and congratulations on all the hard work.

You should graffiti the wallpaper. The plain geometric pattern lends itself to overlaying cool art - you have probably seen that on your travels in the US and Europe. Rome for me is the best. Inside space, outside aspect - a rolling creative statement of the many cultures/societies you have experienced. You can be a rolling art gallery. Safe Journey.

I've really enjoyed the work that you guys are doing on the old RV. But if I may add my two cents worth please... Forget the idea about having a rooftop porch/patio... The more you walk up there the more holes you could put into your roof, the older you get the less you're going to want to climb that ladder, and if anybody falls off there it could be deadly. God bless and be safe! Looking forward to your first trip in the RV!

You guys have so much room in the bathroom.Have you looked at or considered a recirculating shower. You could install a 5 gallon tank and the filters (plus a 12 volt UV light) and just shower with 5 gallons. You can then dump it after a certain number of showers (you can check and see what seems right) and not use your fresh water. You can set it up with a y value that dumps the 5 gallons out or into the gray tank when you are ready for 5 gallons of new water. You can easily install the filters and tank in all that space behind the wall in back. Then just cary a 5 gallon water jug to fill the shower tank when you dump it. i installed one in my class c after looking at all (and I mean all) available videos on youtube. Happy to send you my designs if you want to take a look. Have a fun trip. And can you tell us what the shop is doing to help the RV. Also - did you guys name that RV yet??? PS stealing your step plan on my drivers side over the wine cabinet to access the front bed. Thanks.

If you had put the faucet in the sink before installing it's way easier, and the voltage in series of 2-12v solar panels is around 40 so you must have ran them in parallel, and take my advice get 24v panels in series with an mppt charge controller, you'll be much more satisfied!
