My man called a judge on himself. Bryant a class act as always
@TheEPICStormАй бұрын
Thank you, but you should never be afraid to call a judge. It's also just the right thing to do!
@daltonmekisАй бұрын
He did exactly what he was supposed to. As soon as either player notices any error, you are supposed to call a judge immediately, regardless of who made the error or how easy you think the issue is to resolve
@schlessinger90Ай бұрын
As Bryant multiple time said on the podcast, in paper he tries to push these actions to see if the oppo sees them. It is not unintentional from Bryant!
@TheEPICStormАй бұрын
@@schlessinger90 I have literally never said to try to create illegal game actions. This was not intentional at all, mistakes happen.
@daltonmekisАй бұрын
@@schlessinger90 that would be cheating. You are totally allowed to cast things into an opponent’s chalice, since it is a legal game action and it is up to your opponent to remember their chalice trigger. But Lavinia says that Doomsday simply cannot be cast. Lavinia does have a triggered ability to counter free spells and you are allowed to cast things into that. But it’s just cheating and a game rule violation if you try to cast that Doomsday there. It was def not intentional

I love the internet, and all the dumb things people try and nitpick over. Looking at cards (trying to flood or screw) only works when you're handling your opponents deck.... and only after the game has already started and you know the board state. Both of which aren't the case. Moreover, it's customary to shuffle the opposing deck in between games (though one could argue there's less of a chance of it happening with vintage cards in play; Bryant still does it a few seconds after your timestamp)

You don't know what this guy is doing when he isn't in a feature match and if his default mode is to stare at his deck while shuffling I would at least be kind enough to my fellow players to inform the judge as this is at best poor sportsmanship and at worst intentionally cheating, in the event it causes a problem later on.
