I wouldn't be mad if they retired the Z-Fighters, Goku, Vegeta, etc from the franchise, start completely new and tell a new story w/ Uub, Broly, and the Universe 6 sayians...heck even Hit. There's so many more interesting characters out there. It would just give the dragonball series a new breath of life.

I like Gohan the most so personally I'd just want a show focusing on him, but either way that would change the genre of the show to slice of life/comedy with hints of action every now and then and wouldnt really be what dragon ball is about. A show about Uub, Broly, etc would make more sense as a dragon ball show but I'd still watch a show about Gohan and the others.

The only problem I ever had with The End of Z, is that he leaves Pan... But it's not like he never comes back or couldn't train with her later, even going on the ten year time skip thing, Goku doesn't even fully start training until he was 12 pretty much, and if we're going by the logic Pan was born in the 10 year time skip, he could be gone for years and it's not like he'd be missing the chance to train with Pan more. Can you do a video on the Metamorans? I've always been curious about the similar, genie-influenced appearances of Buu, Majuub, and the dance fusions. And as far as I know, the Metamorans were never explicitly introduced in Dragon Ball; the Fusion Dance was just another technique, like Instant Transmission, that Goku learned offscreen because the plot demanded it.

Kid Buu literally is a demon and had never trained. The demon realm has not actually been explored, but its likely that demonic ki is a thing. Kid buu had demon ki, the opposite of god ki. Now reincarnated as Uub and good, he wil have god ki. Combined with human emotion, he is more a bomb than Gohan could ever be. Goku always favors the strong.

After reading the recent chapter, I think the retcon allows a smoother transition to the end of z. Especially power wise which I think matters less than a good story but ... . If Uub untrained has access to kid buu’s strength at the end of z which required ssj3 to briefly match, it makes more sense now that base Goku at the end of z (even if it was already explained by time skip training) is enough. Hopefully we do get to see the day uub shines.

Its a great concept but none of it matters if the character isnt used. - You got Dai Kaioshin Buu - Some secret sealing technique that he used against Moro - Uub - Universe 6 Planet Salad or Sadala - Broly still out there - Future Trunk's new universe - cell jr. As 17's disciple also with Goten and Trunks there. - Frieza and the fact that he must get a higher level of power in order to even the stand a chance against Goku and Vegeta I'd be surprised if all of these concepts get used before Dragon Ball super ends. A lot of it is fan service but it doesn't matter if you put these things in your story and then then never being implied we're just left hanging as the reader

I think it is because prior to the Moro arc, we didnt see grand supreme kai as an extremely powerful being himself since he was absorbed(defeated) by buu afterall. Now that we know his powers were lost after sealing Moro, him and Uub are now scaled to be potentially Beerus level and maybe even higher.

I’m honestly one of the people that dislike uub quite a bit due not only to thr criticism of the end of Z you mentioned, but also because I never saw this “potential” or “leadership” you speak of. In my personal opinion he’s an incredibly overrated character whom we’ve seen nothing of outside of GT, and even then it was subpar. But the idea of him competing with Goku and other possibly angel tier people even though he’s fundementally human is a bit farfetched.

Pause this at the three minute and 51 second mark. It's the fact that uub is capable of being where goku was at, but at 10-15 years of age. Which means he could still get stronger. Goku achieving massive tiers of power should only reinforce the idea that his pupils can achieve it faster. That's why he takes that particular interest. Look at coulifla.. she showed potential, fast. So he trained her during the tournament. Uub is strong as ss2. Coulifla ss2 got his attention at that tier. So uub, the reincarnate he ASKED for, will still be someone he will always make time for.

It really sucks how underutilized Uub was. GT had its share of problems, but I argue what would have been awesome is to see Uub being apart of the main cast alongside Pan and Trunks. Could you imagine seeing Uub train and get stronger? DBS I'll admit I'm not a big fan but IF the series could do something neat with him and possibly the Shadow Dragons I might be willing to check out the latest arc. Because outside the Moro and TOP arcs, Super has been a meh rehash of a lot of things from DBZ. And really, I'm not interested in that.

So Goku training Uub makes perfect sense, it really it always has. Firstly its Goku's final transition from student to master in Martial Arts. To go further, he often seemed to train him in base form, a major difference than the powers he had to use to fight Buu. Secondly becoming a master and training a student is the next stage of training itself. Training like that is always happening, so no he really wouldn't go home. In Martial Arts you train in every aspect of life. Lastly we've known since the Cell saga that Goku has been looking for someone to take the mantle, in the Buy saga wished for his reincarnation, so of course he switched from Gohan to Uub since Gohan just wanted to live life and Uub was naturally powerful anyways. So really it all fit perfectly fine before, honestly I think people were being picky. But I'm pretty excited to see what they're gonna do with it in Super.

I like the idea of uub's potential, but what's going on with Gohan potential. He trained with piccolo and surpassed his mystic for from the buu arc then went one on one with goku and matched his blue form, goku beat him with kio kan. Then the tournament of power he push to his full power, and in the more arc he got beat down. Shouldn't he do like future Trunks and get strong by now, goku and vegeta got power ups he is a hybrid 🤔

It would be cool seeing the series have Uub as a main character then have trunks goten pan and bra. But, then they could add cabba caulifla and kale because they are pretty young too. And frost could be a universal threat like frieza because he’s a space pirate. Also, it would be dope if the Grand priest held the tournament of power every 15 years or so to see how strong the universes have gotten

I kind of dont want to see Uub take over the role of Goku you know. Like I do want to see Uub run some Dubs and to a point where he was like Gohan. Maybe even get a transformation that makes him a God of Creation - Kill off Shin and have him take over as Supreme Kaio. But I do NOT want him to take over Goku's role in a story about Goku...heck Uub could take over as the Universe's God of Creation and Broly could become God of Destruction. You know? Maybe there will be an arc where Shin dies and Beerus disappears, so Broly steps in as G.O.D. and because Uub is Daikaioshin's essence, he can ascend to Supreme Kaio.

Piccolo would become old like Kami and Piccolo Diamaoh and give birth to a new Namekian, Piccolo Jr. II or maybe he could even have a different name. But this character would become sort of the Krillen or Vegeta to Uub.

I catch heat for saying this all the time but Uub could be Goku's Greatest Disciple* 1. After Goku's Training Uub could learn everything in Goku's Arsenal Kamehameha , Kaio-Ken , Spirit Bomb , Teleport etc. and gain from training against all of Goku's Transformations ? 2. Harnessing Buu's latent Powers* Limitless Ki , God Ki and Magic Buu also learns and adapts fast Uub could also have that ability ? and what if Uub learn Buu Regeneration or Absorb ? 3. Post Goku's Training - Buu can use Magic what if Dai Kaio trains Uub after Goku to teach him Kaioshin Arts and Spells ? Uub could be the centerpiece to the next generation of Z's w/ Trunks Goten and Pan ? Surpassing the Saiyans ?

I've never been a great fan of Oob. Maybe because how they used him in GT, and the end of Z didn't really developed the character.. I'm not more interested for now, but I'd like to see how they could use him differently like you said first with the training and stuff. And finally with the incorporation of god ki! I also think the end of Z should be rewritten and redone because at this point in my opinion, Goku would mop the floor with him at the end of Z! :)
