@SSJ BeCrispTho bro Ssb is just ssj with blue hair. That’s it. They though that it would be unique with god ki and god sense and what not, but it’s really just a recolor of super says in. I think super should have adapted some type of form related to ssj4 because ssj4 appreciates the sayain heritage and shows the power goku race. It was perfect since goku was always portrayed to be like a monkey type character and his character is literaly inspired by a god monkey so why not make his final form similar to ssj4? Ssb seems like they just pulled it out of nowhere.

You should read the manga. It handled this transformation much better than the anime. SSB got more mileage there as well. Honestly, up until this recent chapter, there are no real ass pull transformations like SS Rage or Vegeta's SSB beyond.

I like the color blue more, so... SSJ Blue for me, all the way. However... SSJ God had a way better reveal & design in it's movie. The way it made Goku slimmer & taller, & the emphasis on the transformation and everything... When they introduced Blue, there was _zero_ fanfare to it, and even in the film it looked more like a recolor than a change in form [I think SSGSS should be tall & slim like SSG, but more toned]. Then when it came to the show, they just popped into it constantly. It wasn't until Broly that I feel Blue was given the introduction it deserved.

It's not that hard to understand. Basically, Goku (and likely Vegeta) are capable of channeling a portion of god ki without fully changing into the form, much like Super Saiyan Power. Then Bamco wanted to sell extra arcade cards by giving the technique a name. Then the idea got lost under all the other forms and techniques they wanted to push.

What I like about the form especially is the eyes- they're wide with arches unlike the usual Super Saiyan and blue that are much more narrow. Additionally, they possess visible pupils, which makes Goku who is normally pupil-less except in Super Saiyan 3, get closer and closer to have realistic eyes, which is very uncanny valley. Ultra Instinct pushes this even further.

I had an idea for Super Saiyan God that i thought was interesting and that was that the god bind technique that goku used against broly, was a Goku exclusive and that maybe Vegeta had a different technique, i thought up one called god swap, a technique similar to Amenotejikara, an ability of the Rinnegan in Naruto or Boogie Woogie, Aoi Todo's innate technique from Jujutsu Kaisen where you can swap between anything with Ki and they or it go to your position and you go to the position you swapped with Edit: if your wondering what Broly, Trunks or Gohan would have as technique, i think it would: Broly: God Adapt, a technique where broly can adapt to any technique or ability that is used on him if it's used more(so the technique would get weaker the more it's used on Broly, so for example if Goku used the Kamehameha on Broly a few times than eventually it won't do a thing, it can be bypassed by using a different technique or if broly isn't in his god form anymore), this technique also suits Vegeta, so if you think this technique fits Vegeta more that's your choice Trunks: God Slash, an invisible Slash that can only be seen by people who are using god ki like Goku, Vegeta, Toppo(yes he uses god ki, aura of a God, learn to read) or Beerus Gohan: God Boost, makes an aura appear around Gohan's hands and can make him or other people around if he expands the aura 2x as powerful and boosts their stamina Toppo: can make clones as powerful as himself appear that are all mentally linked Piccolo: can mind control a person for 1 minute, after that he has to wait 1 hour so the power can recharge

I would have preferred it if God Ki was just a different Ki type. Maybe it's more potent Ki than mortal Ki but not an outright upgrade to your entire being. Maybe God Ki's main thing would be that it allows you to execute skills you otherwise couldn't like the Hakai. This way it would make at least a little more sense why Krillin and all these other non-god ki wielding beings can go toe-to-toe with Goku and Vegeta.

The ability to heal has been very confusing with this transformation. It's confusing as to why Goku & Vegeta still use/rely on senzu beans, during/after battle.

@@jasonone8726 it wasn’t in the movie it was in the anime. And the only other time this ability was shown was in the gold black arc when goku black stabbed through zamasu to stab goku. Once he told goku how he killed his wife and son he powered up and healed the hole that should’ve been in him

My guess is when their to low on energy they can't self heal and in the BOG arc it was a ritual with a time limit. So he almost had unlimited energy so the god power healed him but that's just a theory.

Goku getting leaner in while in the super Saiyan God state was actually my favorite part due to my perspective of goku getting leaner without a shred of body fat and just straight muscle on his bones. Bruce Lee lookin ass. That’s just how I took it but this is probably my favorite.

I always assumed that the 6,10,15 scale was a logarithmic scale. So from 6-7 wouldn’t be a 10% increase but a 100x increase for each point respectively. That would allow beerus and whis to be substantially more powerful without affecting power scales

It’s because god ki is the condensing of the normal ki inside of them. It’s why in the anime that when SSG Goku first appears, no aura is shown.

SSG is arguably the best transformation, narratively and visually. If you count MUI and UI Omen, they are awesome in their own right, and they're certaintly unique, but nothing was a larger difference between the trend of SSJ 1, 2, and 3, going in the opposite direction of SSJ4.

One line that jumps out to me about SSG is the end of the Battle of Gods movie when Beerus asks Goku how he stope that huge Ki blasts and Goku says that he wasn't really sure himself. I don't know if we ever got an official answer to that, but if I had to guess it would be either friendship / protection power up or just using SSG for a instant after he absorbed the power. (Because as we see later he can still turn in to the red haired form)

I think that 'God ki' is just higher quality ki, like legendary super Saiyan was a higher quality saiyan/transformation which simply outclasses normal saiyans in sheer quality. I just simply think that it's built different fr. It's simply better ki than normal one.

@@drnebulae7578 yea it's probably like wielding titanium and steel swords. Titanium sword will me stronger and sharper while being lighter thus causing less stamina drain. That's why it would be really hard and not an energy efficient way to attain new forms by sheer normal ki.

@@belle4107 Broly is a genetic "anomaly" amongst the Saiyans so his Natural Ki is its own special type, being able to rival God Ki users. In Jiren's case, it's most likely he has just trained his Ki control to such an incredible level that it too rivals God Ki users.
