I was scared nervous but excited.. But leaving home was the best thing for me and my career. I learned so much about life and my survival being out of my comfort zone. Being nervous is how life teaches you and excels you. You are more vulnerable when your nervous, you also tend to listen and understand better!

Why would anyone find what she said offensive? Most HBCU graduates are aware of or experience the difference in the process/procedure at PWI vs HBCUs. Especially if you attend a PWI for graduate school. As a JSU alum, I am very excited for both young ladies. I want them to excel while continuing their education at Colorado. Hopefully, their experience as trainers leads them to fruitful careers in sports medicine.
