Chris was a song writer and musician and backup singer for years. He wife is who pushed him into going solo and sang backup on stage with him to help him get over stage fright.

Lyttelton, though, was a one of a kind amazing groundbreaking Jazz musician who influenced and shaped the genre probably more than any other single person.
