what a fascinating video! i love how you showcased such unique floating homes around the world. however, i can't help but wonder if the cost of these homes truly reflects their value. for instance, some of them seem like they prioritize aesthetics over practicality. what do you all think?

Hey guys. Cool vid but we’d really appreciate if you practiced some common (& legal) courtesy by asking for permission before using copyrighted clips of us from our videos (11:27), or at the very least giving credit. & FYI our house costed less than $45k & our channel is all about working class folks thinking outside the box to live more affordably.. so we’re FAR from an honest example for this topic anyways 😅 Thanks!

Re: houseboat in Toronto. Obviously, Toronto has winter, but it’s the same as a NYC winter, it’s always near 0C/32F, because of Great Lakes influence, and is 4 months long, not nine! Then, for 6-8 months, it is very hot, 100F/38C on many days, and Amazon humidity, because of Great Lakes influence. Thats why marina is so packed. People are desperate to cool off, beaches are jammed. Don’t be such a typical ignoramus regarding Canada, the cliches are cringifying. FYI: Vancouver and Victoria have full grown palm trees by the thousands, on virtually every street. It almost never snows there, so 4 species of palms thrive, and both of those cities have lots of floating homes and villas. Victoria has a small floating airport, complete with restaurant and wait areas, and a fleet of floatplanes in the harbour.

God gives us a mind and discrimination within intelligence to choose our dreams, and it is up to us to follow them, or to give up people like this created their dreams and followed them with determination style and integrity. I’m sure, and I’m sure these people give a lot of their hard earned money, and I mean hard earnedtoo many charities so don’t put them down for following their dreams. Create a dream for yourself and follow it and enjoy the outcome and feel blessed for yourself and others who do the same. It is up to you.

My doctors have told me if I do anything else I’m supposed to work in an office setting or somewhere where I’m working but in person. But from a distance, I’m not supposed to have hold on my money that is why I stay tight to my family financially I’m trying to find ways to take care of my sisters and their kids and my parents and everybody in this family. What happens to these boats when the water freezes..... I picture smashed glass, houseboat severely tilting to the left, other half under water.... where does their trash go? If there's an overabundance of Shipping containers, why are they priced so high? Regular folk don't tend to have a few thousand set aside, more like barely a few hundred in their Checking/Savings. How much more material things can the rich possibly need? 🤔🤨😞

You know, I’m actually interested in the possibilities in a houseboat. I love sailing and find the motion of the water soothing. No, of course, I can’t afford one, but it makes for a nice daydream. I don’t really like the snide comments of the narrator. Isn’t looking at the lifestyles of the rich and famous an actual television program? Then there is Cribs and other variations of this theme. Just because the majority of the audience can’t afford the house or houseboat doesn’t mean it isn’t interesting to watch.

Did anyone else find that the narrator in this video seemed like he was in a bad mood and didn’t want to make this video? I think almost every comment he made was negative. From the cost, to who could afford them, and the bland interiors. He was just very negative about this video. I watch a lot of videos on this channel and this was the worst do to his comments, and I don’t think I have ever had the urge to comment about how bad a video has been since I started watching KZbin in 2011. Did anyone else feel this way?
