Universal Autoload Coming Back for FS25 and it's Better than Ever!

Great to have this mod in 25 so quickly, even an early version of it. I found this on github yesterday and have given it a go. As of yesterday it does not work for trees/ logs yet. I am sure Loki will get to that in good time, but to have it for pallets and bales is a great help. The new features look great as well.

I just checked, the version I was using from yesterday was 0.0.0.3, it is now up to 0.0.0.7. So Loki is hard at work making this better already. Will be a good idea to bookmark the link in the video description and look for updates every day or two for a while.

Autoload is a top 5 'must have' for me. I hope Loki tackles autoloading log trailers too. I have floating stacks of silage bails at my BGA all the time, I'm pretty sure that's a game engine thing and not this mod. Maybe there's a way to force a state update on bales and pallets at a greater distance. I have to almost drive in to my bails to force them to update the state.

Not working in decicate serwer. There are no upload buttons on a dedicated server. When I want to change the material type for honey, it says no compatible watts are available for loading or unloading

Agreed. Fork physics work better. I haven't had any major glitches ruining the entire stack. But it still gets annoying for larger operations. Really should be productions with a loading dock or larger pallets.

Probably been mentioned, but if you load round bales in layers rather than stacks, they will load on their side rather than on their ends, then stagger the next layer to fit

Oh thank god. At a point in every playthrough, FarmSim becomes Pallet Loading Simulator. I hit that point, started overlapping outputs with inputs, and setting all production outputs to “Sell.” It feels like cheating. Auto-load should be an option for the base game.

@@jameskennedy9232 autoload will never be an option in the base game I guess, because it will make so many tools and equipment totally redundant, such as forklifts, telehandlers, wheelloaders, etc.. but it's a must have mod after some time of using forklifts

@ that’s why it should be a toggleable option. Or even better (and more realistic) they could put loading bays on production buildings that you could back a trailer up to and then just leave them there and have it autoload. Or park a flatbed alongside the greenhouses and have the pallets of veggies autoload onto it. In this latest iteration, trailers automatically offload into inputs anyway, so that would be the next logical step.

you can stack the bales horizontal but you need to set-up the button from your settings it works way better that way.

Thanks for the good link. I got a link from another reviewer that was very complicated to use. Even in the state it is right now it is very useful. I thought I read that eventually it will pick up logs as well. That will really help with wood transport contracts. Thanks again.

This is soooo good. For a beta, this already works very good! I used to struggle a bit with this mod in the past, due to the keys not showing in the F1 menu, because it was too crowded (other keys showing). Not something the mod can help or change. Hopefully, I can do something to ensure I know the keys. I will enjoy this mod a lot! Question: is it possibel to unload materials selectively, just like you can load selectively? That would be very handy for unloading at a specific sellpoint.

Yay Im waiting with all my pallets for it to be released to minimize the frustration of loading otherwise and have the trailer go ransackers if one pallets magically falls through the bottom. Happened a few times with loading planks, Wasnt material type an option in FS22 as well? I used it all the time for loading and unloading.

(Universal) Autoload been around for quite some time, used it to death in FS19. So far i have not made it work properly in FS25 for some reason, but dev's putting out new versions almost daily so the hope is very much alive. Last version i used was 0.0.7 and now 0.0.9 is already out (2 in a day), he got MP buttons/functionality to work and also on rented trailers, Now its only CP and Autodrive missing.. ✌

Love the videos you put out! Thank you. I downloaded this mod today and have not been able to get it to work. I show some controls but some of the stuff is missing. Tried deleting all other mods I had installed thinking maybe one was interacting with this, tried remapping keys, and starting new game. Nothing worked. When I go to change selection for auto load it says something to the effect of, “there are no suitable products to autoload and unload.” I tried multiple different trailers with many kinds of pallets and bales. Any suggestions?

I can’t take credit for this but I read somewhere that if you open the original zip and extract all files. Then re-zip into a new folder. It works perfectly now!

Thank you for sharing that because I have struggled to find the downloads on that site. I normally get mods from a different site that are just like that video showed. Click to download zip and transfer into mod folder. For every other mod I’ve downloaded, they work just fine. This particular mod (for whatever reason) I did it the same as all others and only have the data was there. When extracted and re-zipped it worked. Not sure but I’m just glad it works. Great mod and thank you again for replying with suggested help.

really want a "realism" version of autoload. I hate playing pallet sim, so having autoload on forklifts and trailers so I still have to use the equipment but dramatically simplify its use and time involved in it. Like the pallets autoload onto the forks and then the loading zone for the trailers are off the ground and soon as I get near it I can tell it to load. or something like that. waiting for this to be MP ready

Somoeone else showcased this Mod. Now I see what he didn't understand. Round bales sit higher than square bales so there wasn't enough room for another layer. In the shop screen he only showed the blue box but didn't adjust it. It's obvious now, as his square bales only stacked 2x high.

After always using some variation of the AL mod in FS22, i wanted to try and stick to loading manually in FS25 but the pallet physics are so bad its impossible to keep things tidy. I set up 5 large glass greenhouses, food preserver and a saw mill. Moving them around with the forklift or telehandler, the pallets slide around, and even once they're placed, they move around and fall over. Also since the last update things seem to tip over really easily.

Im not sure if it was universal auto load or some version of auto load but does it still give massive frame drops when you walk beside the trailer on foot? It happens to me all the time in FS22. My frames drop to near freeze frame

For some reason I cannot load the "perfect edge" mod, nor can I load the "better placeable sell price" mod, they just seem to hang in the download sequence then time out. I cannot work out why. Is there something I am missing? The mod downloaded from github and placed in the same folder as my other mods doesn't show up in my mod list. Unzipped the file and found the files in a second folder. Zipped the mod files in a new zip and placed that in my mod folder and still no luck.

We need one for console I made the mistake of starting a load of greenhouse productions and didn't think to put them on distribution or sell so I now have about 100 pallets to shift and I'm crap with a fork lift and telehandler The green drop side trailer is Auto load in the android version so don't get why it isn't on console

Always end up using an autoload eventually. Pallet loading simulator gets annoying. And i don't want productions selling every hour magically while reducing payout. I like to save up a stockpile and sell at once. But the small pallets get annoying fast. And it's ridiculous that we can't change or upgrade pallet sizes late game.

The trailer is already released, so far, doesn't work. Even though it's said to reset the "ctrl u" button.
