Very nice showcase. We agree on most points! I saw you have the Flesh Eater Courts, I recommend trying out Carrion Crimson over those like on elbows/neck/armpits and around eyes/mouth. Goon's Grime foundation and then a glaze with Carrion, you'll see a damn magic happen.

I'm starting to get into the more grimdark aesthetic of miniatures and i have to say goons grime and carrion crimson look very very good. The crimson dries with a fade from satin to almost gloss in the recess' and it makes sores and gore look very realistic, can't wait to try these in the future. The more tools for us hobbyists the better, can always combine usage of AK or MIG products with these.

I always liked the easy use of AK and AMMO productes. Put them into airbrush spray them on and take it off with some mineral spirit and have a good result even as casual lower skilled painter like me. I was excited when i heared about VI because i get tired of the formula problems from AK. But now when i hear in the VI reviews "they act different", "need get used to them", "need to thinned" I get a bit worried they will work for me 😥.

I actually prefer the green ish streaking grime vs the brown one from Mig. It’s greener when you set them side by side sure, but not when it’s applied. They both have their uses though

To be fair, Zack is a -part- of GDC. Certainly an integral part. don't know 100%, but I'm pretty certain Zack is not the driving impetus for this Product. Call me a "One-time-insider". "'Goon", The CEO of GDC/Zatcaskagoon Miniatures has been on the hunt for better solutions to washes since AKI screwed up Streaking Grime. He mastered Reductive wash technique many years ago. Peace, bro... great video... cheers!

Just wanted to ensure credit is given to the mastermind behind the product. The Grimdark community has grown incredibly because of Kendon"s dedication. He's kind of a big deal... y'know.. like you!@@TheFeralPainter

Further context, AK Streak and Grim is 4.50. So for the British or EU market it might be a hard sell ( it's even cheaper in the rest of Europe at less than 4 euros). Mind you that if this product instead of evolutionary it's revolutionary ( like the Dirty Down, which is 8 Pounds for 25 ml and people are more than happy to pay for, for the easy and use and cool effect) it could demand a higher premium, but I do think it's too similar as existing products on how it work and what it does to be called revolutionary. So even if it's a more premium product in the US, if it's successful enough there and the production can be increased as well as logistics improved in shipping, decreasing the price overall, I do think these could overtake AK Interactive Streak and Grime in other markets. ATM the price difference is just too high, if it was 150% or at least 10 BP or less I can see people picking it up. Great looking product regardless.

Hey Feral Painter, I just wanted to say that I am amazed by your content I have been ogling over your videos for the past week trying to gather every bit of technique and advice. Your a top tier painter and I guarantee your channel is going to blow up some day soon. You nail a real life aesthetic in your work, most grim dark is just cover it and oil and paint it black but your stuff feels real like your Leman Russ, Vashtor, and Lion paintjobs. It just feels hyper detailed and just like real stuff its worn but still maintained. Regardless, I love your work. P.S. I am currently working on Pox walkers so I'm working on my skin paintjobs. :)
