I don't know if you talked to a Filipina long but you will notice that if are talking and a contradictory point comes up that you can tell she wants to express herself, she will not do it. She will not stand up for herself and not have an opinion. She will get quiet and you know the conversation is over. It never really feels you can come to an agreement unless you already agree. It's not good. But they are very sweet so you never want to hurt them and you will have to just accept that will just be another thing you cannot talk about. It's happened so many times with me that I start to think it is not my girlfriend but the culture she is in. And I see her eyes and can tell she wants to express herself but is trapped. Yeah it is not a mature thing. Mature is expressing yourself even to men you are intimidated by.

So when I recognize it I start talking to her in a way that makes it easier for her to answer the questions even if I have to prod and encourage her a little bit. To the point where she’s just doing all the talking expressing herself completely and naturally. But it does take some extra effort on your part knowing she has that problem. You can’t just expect instant results because you want them.

This is what I like about Filipino women. When they call you nice and sweet that is a good thing not a friend zone rejection. Hearing a woman that like to treated like a queen is so refreshing. When I'm ready I definitely will try to find the right Filipino woman to be the best possible stepfather and husband I can be for her and her kids.

I (37) have been with my Flipina(27) for almost 5 months now and we recently met for the first time in Manila. What can I say...we were both positively impressed and exceeded our expectations, we had a wonderful time together...we are very happy and I could also already meet part of her family who welcomed me warmly.we will be moving together in the next 6 months (to Manila)

Great video. I've been a subscriber of Leah's channel for a while now and what impressed me was her mature attitude at such a young age, as they is a significant age gap. If I had a partner that was almost 40 years younger than me, we would have that discussion about what would happen once I was gone. @Phil 85032 One of the things I love about Pea's videos is that there are layers to them, and they are often more cerebral than you might expect. I'm guessing this is a subtle social comment (without commenting) on the gender politics being played out in the world at present and often in schools by the teaching profession. I doubt Pea will confirm or deny, but she will probably be happy that it was noticed and that we are talking about it.

Well it happened to me last year in May. My Filipina “girlfriend” of five years, broke up with me when I got here to stay permanently (long story).
