Absolutely beautiful home. I'm sure that everyone will be very pleased with it. It's very open and having so many windows will allow for really good airflow. I do have a concern about the electrical outlet in the shower. Will that not be a problem with the humidity from the shower condensing due to the coolness of the wall? Capillary action may also pull moisture into the outlet. I'm not trying to be a downer. I just care a lot about you and your family. Anyways, I like the rainwater collection unit. That'll be a big help for secondary water uses. Pea, the money spent was very well invested. Your family now have a place where they are safe from the elements. You rock awesome, lass. Thank you for giving us another tour.
@thefreeaccount02 жыл бұрын
This is a common setup in developing countries. The outlet is necessary in case they want to install a water heater. Very rarely, it can result in short to ground and fatal electrocution. However, the hazard of fatal electrocution can be easily eliminated just by replacing the standard outlet with a GFCI outlet. The GFCI outlet may give you a shock, but it won't kill you.

On my trips to philippines I was always shocked at the lack of ceiling fans and whole house fans. They use so much less electricity than ac, the other thing I noticed is the locals turning off fans when they leave. Keeping the fans running and the air moving keeps it much cooler. Otherwise the house heats up and the fans can take hours to bring the temp down. A whole house fan is a must in hot humid environments.
@SaiyansX2 жыл бұрын
Fans do not lower the temperature, they only stir up the air (which stays the same temperature) and in flowing air the human body cools down better than in standing air, even more heat dissipation is provided by water if it is not too warm ...

I have yet to watch this video fully through oh, I just got started with it. I will say that I think you are the best video blogger from the Philippines with regards to everything Filipino whether it be love or Finance or just something fun. I love the one where you helped out the orphanage school or whatever school it was around Christmas time and you happen to be I think the sweetest spokesperson for the Philippines there is. You could be the tourism Bureau all by yourself for the Philippines as well as the one that helps create beautiful matches between Western men and lovely Filipina women, actually they're not just women they are true ladies! I had a Filipina girl that turned out to be one that just wanted money and stuff out of me and during the time that I was conversing with her and planning life with her and her family, I also had a nother wonderful friend that's a Filipina and a farm girl from Mindanao Province by Cebu, as a good friend, and sad to say a backup just in case things went South with the other girl. Well I will say things did go south with the other girl and she really showed her true colors to me and I had to move on and blocked the entire family. I believe many of her family members were good people and I think she herself is a good person, but there was too many things that she was going to be like my ex-wife or too many signs that she was going to be like my ex-wife, and I was not going to get into that situation ever again. I know too much information but you and other video bloggers in the Philippines talk about how there's really good ones and some really rotten ones over there. I like that you tell the truth, you are so beautiful so sweet you have a heart of gold, and a soul that I think God inspired specially to be so christ-like. I'm talking to my microphone so it's not capitalizing like it should. Thank you for the love inspiration that you give on your video blogs, I can just feel like you're talking to me individually and you're giving us all warm Loving Hugs virtually. You are my favorite you are drop-dead gorgeous, and any man that ends up with you is his wife is the luckiest man on earth I swear! I would like to send you a friendly virtual and loving bear hug, you are a sweetheart!

I am worried the property is lower than walking area above, it rains a lot in the Philippines wouldn't the rain flow downwards? what will keep it from flooding? I am very happy for you Pea, it is a very nice place we are still renting until we can build.

The back of the property, where the land slopes towards, has a deep drainage ditch to handle the water 👍 We even got to test it recently (it’s rainy season here). The walkway in front of the house, though, may be a problem (since we don’t own it). It tends to flood there, but the gate is raised a little bit so that the water has to really rise in order to pour through the front - but hopefully it will follow the slope back to the ditch. We shall see, and thanks for thinking of it 👍😊

I was concerned about this also...but, as usual, you know what you're doing! 🤭

@@TheFilipinaPea its easy and cheap to add a dry well back by your water catch and put drain runs around the front and side if it becomes a problem. another do it yourself project.

@@TheFilipinaPea I was wondering the same thing myself. Hope it works.

I like the shelves in the kitchen instead of having more cabinets above. Looks simple and less crowded.
