@kittygirl_thetortie4982 жыл бұрын
@@ReluctantSpirit been watching Vikram for 20 years, I'm still waiting to get bored or over him. Same with Kamal Hassan and Rajnikanth. Inspite their immense talents and super stardom, they have remained humble and soft spoken all these years. Rajni-kamal duo since the 70s and Vikram since the 90s. The same attitude, tone of voice and behaviour during interviews, when addressing the public etc. These 3 actors are just a small example of a sea of other massively talented kollywood (Tamil movie industry) actors who has remained humble and grounded inspite decades of stardom and star power. Of course there are one or two arrogant ones with bad attitude. Best contemporary example is the formerly most successful Tamil industry comedian Vadivelu (the Tamil industry superstar Rajnikanth requested the director of the movie chandramukhi to specifically cast him for that movie..he was in such high demand at one time) but his sheer arrogance and attitude caused his downfall and he was ultimately blacklisted by the producers council from acting.
96 is an emotion and its respectful end was its crescendo . No other finale would suffice. A feeling of both yearning and completion. Pure love

Here is the Secret why south Indian stars are much loved by their fans and why they are polite to their fans.. First they represent us in any matter of disorder in the states be it flood in chennai , protecting our languages, border issue with other states , river Water issue, farmer issue , and many social causes, non advertisement of intoxicants or pan , they celebrate our folk culture....obviously we feel they are one of us ..secondly they will maintain their public conduct so cordially with their fans so much so that no public smoking or under the influence of alcohol or drugs..thirdly and most importantly their personal life, I mean their closed bonding with their family, wife (hardly there are divorces) , children's....it's quite normal we look up to them how our conduct has to be and the role we should play in our family....best examples we can site here are chiranjeevi, rajanikanth, rajkumar family, mohanlal and the list goes on on..

Just look at their bonding with each other when they speak itself we can understand that and this is what bollywood is lacking that bond....
@Finnola2 жыл бұрын
Actors in tamil or malayalam or anywhere else respect craft and is proficient in not only their job but being informed of what the story is and how to fill in somebody's shoes so to speak. Everyone started as character actors before becoming superstar, in tamil cinema Rajnikanth knows how to reinvent and be part of effective storytelling despite doing the same thing(superstar image) and having the burden of carrying the film on his shoulders. On the other end of spectrum Kamal hassan with his encyclopedia knowledge of cinema. When focus is truly on serving the craft from every actor then naturally respect and bonding follows. In bollywood that's lacking from years ago till now because it's competition and treating films like popularity contest.

Also inspiring to observe how each of the actors has a strong personality and a view of their own - they all have a sense of the story and their contribution to the movie. Ponniyin Selvan is just a glimpse of Tamil literature(Modern). When people read or watch in a movie in future (my wish) of some gems like Silapathikaram(ancient) to VelPari (Modern) then they know how certain authors are well-versed in blending History into words. I think Ponniyin Selvan success will share some more light to many literary works. Asuran is an adoption of a Novel which becomes great success with non native audiences. And it's best opportunity for Tamil directors to explore this genre of movies

Look how polite and grounded the south actors and actresses are, unlike the arrogant North Indian actors and actresses. I felt the same politeness and humbleness with Dulquers promotions of “Chup” last week. North Indian actors need to have more of their Hindi movies boycotted. Only then they will truly learn.

True … Prabhas isn’t an effective speaker but don’t put down the rest of them … Looks like you haven’t seen Ram charan & Jr NTR ‘s interviews….Which Telugu star who appeared in Pan india movies wasn’t humble & sensible ?

I think most Telugu stars are good speakers except for Prabhas who I think a bit of an introvert. I'm saying this as Tamilian who have seen their interviews to North media

Trisha rocks always.. she deserve national wide fame when she work in katta meeta...but i don't understand why she focussed on Tamil films more. She is equivalent to Bollywood actresses with her acting and personality..
@Bheemabrothers2 жыл бұрын
@Shelly Shell yes but now she getting Pan Indian level fame after 20 years. My concern is that she can balance all types of roles. Why didn't do some hindi movies. I like to se her in hindi movies as most of her telugu movies were dubbed in Hindi.. varsham, nuvostanate,
@smile.123bts72 жыл бұрын
@@Bheemabrothers because she doesn't need to do hindi movies? Hindi movies don't bring out the same down to earth flavor and cultural attributes that south films do, and trisha shines in her small, simple girl roles so no one really wants her or needs her to do hindi films. we love her in the tamil/telugu industries :)
@nonpartisanrealist70752 жыл бұрын
She is an average actor at best she is no revathi sridevi or radhika or shobana or nitya menon.. she is definitely good looking and could have been a good glamorous heroine in the north.. all the ugly kirti sanon and katrina alia bhatt and others with below par features doesn't stand a chance in front of her

For everyone, Tollywood is not South Cinema. Kollywood is Tamil,Tollywood is Telugu ,Sandalwood is Kannada and Mollywood is Malayalam. Even though we like to call Indian cinema or south cinema in southern states. Don’t use wrong tag.

The idea that women were marginalised in classical times itself is flawed. First of all, we should read the classical texts, not just some modern renderings of those. I think PS brings that angle in a good way.
@indiandude9932 жыл бұрын
Women were marginalized, then and today. That doesn't mean they didn't assert themselves throughout history.
