Boss if you really want to preserve your fish. After catching it try using the ikejime method and try bleeding your fish.

@@TheFishingKit yeah I know bro. Just sayin though. Been doing that for years now. Though it's kinda scary bleeding your fish in an open sea with a small makeshift boat.

@@raizontv1483 I don't think it's the boat, but more the willingness to do it really, I mean it was a habit of ours to do that to all the fish we caught back home years ago. But then again, I was fishing with a Japanese guy most times and we did it right after we caught the fish, it just became a habit. And we were fishing on pumpboats, so yea, just a matter of just doing it. Takes some time, but well worth it.
