Hi Kit, I noticed that you didn’t wrap the string on the hook shank first before you tied the cord like you usually do for the smaller hooks. Just was wondering. Im showing a diffrrent way of tying it, but the steps are specific, if you skip a step, the cord slips.

I mean, which is best when and why Please take your time answering as much as possible because I need to know more about this and what the rule is

long hooks will require shorter cords.

@TheFishingKit Yes, of course, but is this the only difference. I am asking because it's difficult to get the short shank with the small size i need and what is available is the regular shank, iseama and chinu hooks in my region

Chinu works well for smaller stuff.

Its not complicated Kyle - just a soft high double pump - rest your rod on a butt rest while doing it or on your belly if you are comftable that way

For deep water, flash is useless. There are uses for them, but quite specific and its not to attract fish. For shallow water, Flash works...In fact, the assist hook I designed for Owner has flash...sort of.
