That looked like a fun day of fishing, even with the challenges! It's awesome that you guys were able to land some channel catfish and even a couple of bass in that little urban pond. I've never tried using live shad for bait before - what kind of rig do you use for that? And that double hook-up at the end was a great way to finish the day!

Bottom feeders are like shooting fish in a barrel so is fishing with live bait .I never use live bait ever no matter what or where. I call myself a bass hunter walking around and fanning lures all over the place up and down canals around ponds, lakes and rivers. I catch only bass here in AZ. I live in Downtown Chandler and from NYC.

Why the heck can't you use the Tilap as bait in AZ. Seems like there's a billion of em there. You can catch and release, and theoretically keep to eat...but can't throw em on a hook? Wierd rule. Another good video!
