John Staehle - I’m glad you enjoy the videos John. We are just sharing what we love doing. The small boat fishing is something I really enjoy. @@TheFishLocker Not yet, not yours at least. I have seen others fight big tuna though. I heard a rumor that sometimes they fight so hard that the excess heat from it partially cooks the flesh. Great Video. I agree about the spare engine its a real pain does upset the balance of the boat. I have a built in sealed locker at the front Port side that I fill with water that balances the boat up. I fish out of Filey and its rough ground with some big tidal flows and a lot of crab pots to dodge so a spare engine is essential but a pain..Love your videos and even though I have shore fished and boat fished for may years I have learned some useful stuff from your videos. Keep them coming.
@TheFishLocker5 жыл бұрын
chris Court - Thankyou very much Chris. That does sound like a good solution to your balance issue. I know the Filey area a bit from when I used to live up in Whitby. Great coastline. 😉👍🏻🎣🐟
@chriscourt78165 жыл бұрын
Filey has fantastic fishing and as its a beach launch its difficult for visiting anglers to boat fish so it never too crowded. Its not all about the Cod anymore we get some big Pollock, Thornback Rays are now in good numbers and decent sizes ( my pb is 12lbs) and there is some good Bass fishing. I saw your video where you had seen the Blue Fin Tuna. I never realised that they were back in those sort of numbers again. Its a Shame you cant fish for them..Tight lines..

I have a friend who I started following when he had 100 subs and went fishing at lunch and after work and posted his videos. He, like you, made clean, family friendly videos with no cursing. In one year, he had over 100,000 subs, and he visits the Amazon in Colombia, and other states and countries. You should visit his channel, Ty PigPatrol, and I'll go over now and tell him to visit your channel. I'd love to see a collaboration between the two of you. You guys are two peas in a pod.

Where do all the wrecks come from? Seems like an interesting thing to read up on.
@TheFishLocker4 жыл бұрын
- The Cornish coast is very rugged and filled with shipwrecks from both accidental nautical loss and military sinking during the wars. Areas like the Manacles reef are littered with shipwrecks. Give it a google. ;)
@superior2u4 жыл бұрын
@@TheFishLocker I realize that's probably a silly question to ask of someone who lives in a country with such a naval tradition but I was curious, so I did give it a google! A lot of interesting results, The Manacles definitely came up. For some reason I thought shipwrecks didn't last as long as they do, especially some of those much older wooden vessels. I suppose you'd think that sailing was much safer these days but it's really not, is it? I mean, the ocean isn't taking any safe boating courses! I'd be really interested in seeing some more underwater footage of these wrecks you're fishing, those vids with the eels were amazing.
@TheFishLocker4 жыл бұрын
Ashton - The only issue with filming a lot of the wrecks I fish is they are very deep. Too deep for your every day divers and there isn’t a lot of light down there so videos aren’t easy. I have tried.

Its just what you are most comfortable with. I was taught both at school and use a mixture depending on what I'm doing. Its weird. anything below a foot I use cm and mm.
