That's cool, I picked up a used Galaxy Note 9 and keep meaning to have a play round with Dex. How did you get into your phone without the screen initially, did you not have a screen lock?

As I mentioned in the video. When you connect the HDMI/usb hub to the phone you can use an external mouse, keyboard & screen.

Hi, I have a Samsung Galaxy S9 that is completely working but dead screen. Prior to it, I haven't had access to ADB Security and DeX so I couldn't really just connect it to my PC and use DeX on windows. So no way of getting in. Would it still automatically enable dex if I just connect an HDMI to a monitor?

Yes. That's the idea. You can get an adapter on amazon with usb-c in and out that has HDMI and usb-a

They haven't discontinued it. It's only the Dex for Windows app that has been shut down. It's still coming out on the new phones.

amazing! with iphone , not to even download music to this garbage doesn't works! and at games category, i am limited! maybe for a basic phone i will keep it! but for what i want , naaahhh, iphone not good!
