We too eager for foreign acceptance that we lose the authentic sound and then the international people come and sample the original remix it and rebrand it for example work by Rihanna and every reggaeton song. Every dancing song from Bogle to rdx dance has authentic dancehall where the drum and bass is prominent then u listen ghetto whiskey and it’s the organs and those fruity loops claps that grab the ear. Dancehall needs a revival we need an Einstein to build back the sound and stop trying to make the Americans accept it, the world loves the original sound

Respect you work but genius change the sound a dancehall to this hip hop flavor beat/riddim and when the music stagnate him run way left it. Now the music stuck in that fusion and lost its identity and global appeal. Is only the vernacular distinguish it from hip hop right now.
