Based on the focus of the video, I'd challenge you to consider Quickley is main piece in return and is a perfect pairing with Barnes. Quickley's advanced analytics suggest he might even be the best player in the trade in the long run, better than OG (who has been my favorite Raptor for five years). Also, not to be that guy...but...Canada has provinces, not states.

Def will miss him. But we need help at the guard position, been that way for a few seasons now. I'm glad OG was traded to a good team where he can do real damage, but I'm also conflicted about how that dmg would land on us being in the same conference and all .

I’m never going to forget Malachi and Og. Precious will be remembered and brought great memories like his poster dunks and his one pull up three. Og gave that amazing buzzer beater against the Celtics and almost played 400 games for the team. Malachi was starting to find a groove and might be able to develop without the nick nursery as he playing well at the start of the season. Giving up 2 players that played their whole careers with the team hurts but it had to be done and the Knicks will embrace them.

Raps fan here... interesting takes mentioned in this video... While on paper 3 FRPs sound like a good return for OG, those picks would have insane protections and end up being late firsts (ie. Memphis being one of the teams he mentions when talking about the picks). I personally also think that IQ is the clear best player in the overall trade, because he has by far the highest ceiling out of all the players, as he was not given the chance to flourish under Thib's system... That being said, it's definitely a win-win trade because although it seems as though we got a large haul, the Knicks are definitely much better off with a piece like OG to compliment Brunson and Randle; while we got our shooting presence and guard depth that we were so desperately looking for since parting ways with Lowry. Love the content mike keep it (we call them provinces up here, not states... lol)

Great video but the grade of B- for Raps and A for Knicks is ludicrous. O.G. was a flight risk with a strong possibility of demanding a max. I don't really think is he'll stay with the Knicks if that max is not offered cause he's looking for a bigger role and 3r on the Knicks isn't enough for him. Raps needed creators on the floor and both RJ/EQ are perfect fit. Essentially got two players and a pick for nothing, that's an A in my books. Knicks are the B- in this case as they ae in teh same situation as Raps now. Kicks don't really have a great record of retaining talent for the longest time. Real evaluation would have to be done at the start of next year.

Great trade for Toronto in my opinion siakem should definitely be the next domino to fall get some draft capital and a couple young players and The rebuild is done without the tanking be able to transition into the Scotty Barnes era. I believe ( don't hate me for this ) that Emmanuel is actually better then R.J and will probably show it in a bigger role. Plus letting vanvleet go for free makes a little more sense to me if they had a deal like this already planned. The Knicks however gave up alot but I'm sure they probably had to outbid some teams, seing that almost half the league has been interested in him. I don't think they moved the needle much with there ceiling still being a #4 seed in the east. It does fill there defensive holes at the same time I'm scard to see how bad their bench will be now. Resigning OG will keep a valuable asset on the team and they still can trade Randle some draft pics and maybe grimes to be able to bring in some talent. A grade Toronto B- for Knicks. Both teams are probably not done making moves that'll explain why the trade happened so soon 🕊️

Acquiring draft picks is a long term strategy that wouldn't fit the timeline of a Barnes lead roster unless you have lottery pick/s with NBA ready impact players. 3 first round picks is appealing, but Raptors prefer to trade for young proven players that will take another leap. Knicks had surplus talent ... good job with roster construction from which the Raptors benefit most. Both teams got better but the knicks need to get their superstar to be top contenders.
