Cadet Pilot Program vs Conventional CPL training

Cadet Pilot Program is an amazing stream to do your pilot training and become a pilot for an airline. While there is also the conventional method of doing the CPL training and becoming a Pilot (I already have covered that method in the 3 part series of How to become a Pilot), both these streams have their own boons, banes, challenges and advantages.
In this video, I explain about what a Cadet Pilot Program is, how is it different from the conventional method, and I also explain the selection process briefly.
In the end I give a comparison and my suggestion as to which is stream is right for you.

Yes there are !. There are many aviation institutes specially in delhi (ramphal chowk) which train you for the selection process

I just doubt that if I go with the conventional method...will I get a job when I'm done with the training....and is there a binding by the airline for the cadet pilot...like they have to serve them for 10 yrs or something like that if they are recruited through the cadet program?

If you get your pilot training through the conventional method the job is not automatically guaranteed. You must apply for the available vacancies and it is difficult to predict how long it takes to get a job because it depends on the market conditions and how many new vacancies there are at that moment. If you go through a cadet pilot program, there is probably some sort of agreement on how long you will have to serve this airline. Of course, this period depends on the airline and may vary depending on the airline.

Height requirements are strict in air force... not in commercial flying... 150 cm might be just about okay, I still suggest you to consult a Class 2 medical doctor.... as far as I know, you will clear the class 2 medical easily
