It's such an awesome feeling when you get these proofs of being fitter than ever!! Again, BRAVO ANDY!!!! Well done! Always good to be in contention. Had to laugh though with the white Vaporflys and then start with a lap of a muddy field. Be interested to hear more about how you rate the Vaporfly 3 as clearly did fine here. I quite like them and probably on a par with the VF1 but just find the upper fit a bit sloppy out of the box but have now worked round it.

Thanks Tim! They give me tight calfs... I suffer with that if I use plated shoes too much but these seem to bring that issue on much quicker... its still tight now! The foam is a welcome return to v1 squishiness BUT as you mention, the upper fit is so sh*t compared to other shoes... I dont understand why the v2 and v3 use such sloppy fitting uppers... bring back vaporweave

Ah Newent School. Such (not) fond memories of a NYD parkrun double. They hadnt expected anyone from outside the area to turn up so all us front runners running round like headless chickens. In torrential rain. Hope all those crisps on the back seat made it home to the kids!

Great race in those circumstances, well done. But I am surprised some roads were not closed and they used such small roads, tracks and turns at some points. That would never be allowed in my country.

Yeah the lanes are quite tight, they put marshalls on each junction to warn the oncoming traffic so each car we met were going very slowly or stopped and waited for us
