Hey Foiled Friends!! This video is looooong overdue and I'm pumped to have finally filmed it! I hope you find this Foiling FAQ chat helpful, I know it's just a lot of talking but I tried to keep my thoughts straight to the point (which is hard because I ramble so much LOL). One FAQ that I missed was "Can you re-use foil scraps?" The answer is YES! I keep all of my foil scraps, no matter how small, just incase I need a random piece in the future. Plus, you know I hate wasting!

@@stephsherriff2894 she talked about it about halfway through. She prints foiled part on laser and non foiled part on inkjet. I asked this question 2 years ago 🤷‍♀️. I noticed another person asked a similar question to mine and no reply from her either.

@@surgicaltechcrafter2169 yes, I saw that she talked about it - I was wondering if a tutorial had been made showing how to get your inkjet and laser to 'line up' correctly as I'm having trouble with that part.

@@stephsherriff2894 there is a video by Crifty Crafty its called Easy Foiling and it's 4 years ago. She does a few techniques the one you want is at the end of the video. Its a inkjet wreath then she puts it through the laser for the foil. she does talk about the possibility of it not quite lining up. Hope that helps and good luck.

I have a color laser printer and it foils fine. I have also foiled something I printed in color and it worked too!

OMG! You are the best!!!! And I have subscribed!!! ✨✨✨ I have a question that I’m having trouble with. When I design an item in Procreate, and print in color with my inkjet, and then I do a Black & white layer that I print in laser, I can not get it to align with the inkjet background. Is there a solution for that? If we need to have a consult, I’m all for it!

Sasha Pack the only real noticeable difference I’ve found is the minc foil seems to pick up on intricate details a little better. I don’t do a lot of fine line work so both work great for me! I accomplish the same end result, I use the minc if I have a large piece to foil because of the continuous role aspect, so I don’t have to piece together foil to cover the whole print! I was curious after you foil can you print over the foil. I just have a logo I want to foil then to have the business name over the top. Also if you do clear stickers what type of sticker/label do you use?
