HUGE THANKS to ExpressVPN for offering all Food Ranger viewers 3 months free and 49% off their yearly package using this link: ExpressVPN.com/Thefoodranger . Travelers need ExpressVPN to stay safe online and to unblock any site. I personally use it for Netflix, even while at home in Canada, but also while traveling to unblock content and episodes that are geoblocked, and I also use it for security, because airport wifi and hotel wifi is often very insecure, leaving my data vulnerable. By connecting to one of their servers around the world, it’s just like my computer or phone is in that location, and all data sent while connected to their VPN is secure, safe, and private from others to see, so I know that my data won’t be hacked or looked at by others. Thanks so much for watching, and we have tons more videos coming up for you! Please leave me a comment below letting me know what you thought about this episode, thanks so much!!!

Btw, Muslims don’t eat blood. That’s what Halal means. The blood is drained completely for it to be Halal, exactly the same way for it to be Kosher. This is because blood contains uric acid (urine) and that is toxic for humans and also this is what usually causes diseases and cancers in humans as well. So ultimately Halal just means healthy 😉👍🏼

As an American, it's so nice to see these people in good ways. We are raised to think that Chinese are communist and bad, and all Islam is terror by the News. This shows how kind and welcoming people are, and how we need to be open to see the kindness of people and their culture. I love Chinese history and I am very interested in their culture, thank you for sharing their lives with us and being so polite to them. Good blessing and safe travels to you and ting ting!

Hi, Trevor, I love the way you present your experiences "raw", which adds so much to the authenticity of the foods you showcase. Surprising thing for many of us living in the West, who get most of our knowledge of Muslims from the media, that the locals are fine to invite a foreigner to video tape inside of their mosque, and that they didn't kick out your girlfriend, that their women work outside of home and can talk to strangers, and that there was a restaurant selling pork blood sausages right next to the beef offal soup joint. Unlike what many of us believed, I'm impressed to see another side of Muslims life in China, that they do live peacefully together with other ethnic groups, they are friendly, and open minded. I can't wait to see more postings, my friend!

Just click on the links and read Mustafa, Singapore is not Malaysia obviously. Sure everyone is free to practice their religion as long as the muslims allow it. Yea they are! Please don’t believe in one sided media (which has political agenda behind it), please see it for yourself in Xingjiang China. The Chinese government respects Muslims in China, I will give you one example, all universities are building or has built additional separate kitchen just to cater to Halal food. And there are so many Muslim temples being built every where in China, and they are given more benefits when going to university.
