In the New Testament, Christians learn from the Holy Spirit and the Apostles especially Saint Peter that ALL foods eventually end up in the sewers from our bodies and that what comes Out of our mouths, thefts, lies, murders, adulterous acts are far worse than the foods that GO into our mouths, be they snails, rabbit, or of course, pork. So the old Jewish dietary and slaughtering laws don't apply to us. You may want to discuss this further with your clergy person. Of course in countries as presented here Halal might be a better choice of eating because you know what meats you're getting, although some people might wish to forgo camel or yak. Happy New Year 2022. Let others eat as they please.

Some of the Muslim food looks very good. There is a middle eastern restaurant here in Murfreesboro and I am going there (multiple trips of course) and trying most items on their menu 'cause I have seen you sample it. Fresh hummus is on the top of my list along with their variety of middle eastern salads. Falafel is up there too and I am so looking forward to the bread as well. Then of course there is the hot brick oven meat pies. I can hardly wait.
