Hey fooster just a tip on the meteorite sites. You can have clan mates carry the other babies w no genetic mutations follow you to the site and as long as they are following you when you discover the site, all of the babies being carried will get mutations as well so you can get all 6 babies w mutations. 🙂 And just another add on the mutations take effect or appear rather, when the babies are put down off your back in a sleeping spot. W every baby that went w you that was being carried you should get a mutation once every baby is set down. 🙂

The Aloe plant is useful for many things. You can use the needles from it to stitch wounds and I believe it has medicinal uses as well

When you go to a meteor site, take two other apes with you, with both of them carrying two babies. If you do this, you will get an extra 6 points you can lock in, instead of just two. It's the best way to lock in the most inherited traits at once. A total of twelve traits that you can lock in...

Really been enjoying the series! Just wanted to give you a tip for min maxing meteorites. When you discover a meteorite site and inspect it, all babies that are with your group will gain a mutation if they don't have one. You will also get 1 more reinforcement for each baby in your group. If you bring 2 more adult apes and make them carry 2 babies each, you can get 12 reinforcements and 6 mutations for your next generation skip. Best done early in the game when you have lots of neurons unlocking early, less impactful later in the game though so no need to worry about trying to min max.

Just in case you can't find any basalt rocks, you can make an obsidian scraper by hitting an obsidian with most rocks or a hard tool. It butchers carcasses faster but slower at modifying sticks.

One thing I noticed about the game is you can unlock neurons and if you can’t get the neural energy to lock them in just make as many kids as you can lock what you can then skip a generation. Go around and view all the bone piles with two kids piggy backed. Lock in more neurons repeat as rinse. You can advance a lot very quickly.

I have started playing this game too all because of you and your awesome videos. One thing about meteorites. After inspecting the site, you have to pick it up and inspect it with the kids with you in order to get the mutations. Also, mud is a great way to help with heat. It also gives you a sneaking boost to keep the bad things away.

Great video as always. A tip for the heat, try using either a granite grinder on the aloe sap OR finding mud piles. They both give longer protection, and mud gives camouflage protection.

So with the aloe try using a grinder rock on the aloe sap. And keep your eye out for hyena eggs in the Savanah, they are extremely rare but once you find them they are a great food source.

there are only five species of mammal that lay eggs and the hippo is not one of them. They live in Australia, that would be the four species of echidna and the duck-billed platypus.
