Football is a team sport, if your team suck, if it is not properly trained, if it doesn't function for any reason, you can be Messi and you still will look like a loser. Messi was at the same time the greatest at barcelona and a great loser at national team. As mentioned in the beginning of the vid, a coach can also help to ruin a player, if he is forced to play out of his original position, if he has to sacrifice his qualities for tactical sake etc.
