@assa19054 жыл бұрын
Its quite surprising that as an arsenal fan i have such different opinions on the three managers.For me Lampard has made more impact than the other two.Nobody thought that Chelsea would get top 4 at the start of the season but he did it.I know his start to the season has been underwhelming but i think people expect every one of their new world class players (Ziyech,Havertz,Werner,Thiago silva) to gel in the team and perform like LIverpool and City but it takes time.They concede goals because it does not help when the worst keeper in pl is your keeper so.... As for Ole and Arteta I think Ole gets a lot of criticism because people think United's squad is better than it it is.As for Arteta I think he has papered over our squad which to be frank might be the most unstable and unbalanced squad in the top 10.But i still think Arteta has not played our best players to their strengths and has struggled to organize his squad as per his liking due to the obvious lack of genuine quality which is in abundance in ole's and lampard's squad . so for me Lampard>Ole=Arteta (can change obviously due sample size being small

I disagree and I'd point out ole had basically no reliable chance creation for half the season until Bruno came in as Pogba was injured and he was missing martial for almost half a season then rashford for the other half and still got 3rd. “Who of the past players that manage their past clubs are best to worst: Arteta, Lampard, Ole?” What a joke of a discussion they had. Arteta should be regarded the best right now just because of how quickly he managed to change the team and win a trophy (ies). Lampard did a great job with no transfer for 2 windows and finished 4th with FA final. Right now his team is on top - clearly superior to the other two. Ole is the worst of the three. He is not tactically good despite what they said and his performance is very poor. “Arteta had less transfer windows than Lampard” - they both had just one window

I’ve got a few points as a Tottenham fan. 1. We’d be lucky to get 50m for Dele. Goals and assists don’t tell the full story of last year and he struggled for big chunks of the season. 2. Lucas was never very good for us. On paper he looks like a consistent performer, but his first touch is poor, he’s constantly looking down when he’s dribbling, and he’s very selfish in the way he tries to take on three players at once instead of making simple passes. 3. Our defense is our biggest problem, however, I think you could say the same for pretty much every club challenging for Europe this season. There’s going to be a lot of goals scored this year but there’s also going to be a ton conceded, so make of that what you will.

Really? No, as Mourinho said, tottenham will never be title contenders. In fact, Tottenham can only win this year if they come from nowhere, just like Mourinho's Chelsea. But the defence is looking poor, and I don't mean the defence is bad, I mean there are no "monsters". Mourinho had Terry, Ramos, now Dier? I think with some luck they could get close. However, I think that this year it is not about defences. Li erpool have a poor defence, same with other teams. Man City on paper look the strongest actually, but there is something behind them. I dont Spurs will get close to a title race, and if they will win it, it will be late on from nowhere. Liverpool and Man City ALWAYS look bad the second half of the season. All I know is that of Spurs keep playing the way they are, they will get close. It is a very very open year so who knows. Liverpool and City have been poor. Results don't reflect the way they won. Liverpool got a lucky penalty in that West Ham match from a Salah dive. The true core foundation for Spurs is clear - they can afford to slip up at times, they're squeezing in wins with a lot of games, every 2-3 days. Everton game was an off one - won't happen again. West Ham was sloppy - that's fair, but Burnley's that way with just about every team, 11 man defense. Still get the wins. Spurs have more than 30 goals in 18 matches or something near that. So although they're waiting for the strong CB to replace Vertonghen, they have a handful of decent CBs all working in combination - defending has been good overall. It's early days and Spurs often get going over time - momentum. The Newcastle draw was a win with a nonsense penalty call in the 96th minute. Watch them win.

Hold on a minute. Rub of the green? Newcastle were gifted the goal from the new rules costing Spurs two points. The three goals conceded against West Ham in last eight minutes won’t happen again for another five years. Spurs were 2-1 up against Man United and dominant. Spurs should have a 6 and 1 record and top of the league

The points gap argument is always weird for me because Spurs had at least a couple months without either Kane or Son (and even longer for just Kane), which is a long time to not have your only striker and your two best goalscorers? And Mourinho also had Poch's poorer start to the season to deal with as opposed to his own.

I am the only one thinking that Arteta has been a terrible manager for Arsenal? I don’t think that Lampard has been much better but at least he has done something with this Chelsea side. Ole has annoyingly been a good manager for Man United. (From a Liverpool fan)

How has arteta been terrible he’s clearly improved the team so much since he’s come in
@dennishansen64214 жыл бұрын
@@mrhokagesmith4146 improved the team? Arsenal is getting less points than under Unai Emery who everyone was saying that he was terrible. Arsenal is averaging about 7 shots a game. They are struggling in mid table and didn’t get top 6 last season. Arteta is using players that shouldn’t be starting in position that they don’t fit in. It’s easy to see how he has ruined Aubumeyang one of the worlds best by using him in wrong position and system. Why are they using Tirney at CB?! Arsenal has gotten worse under Arteta dispite using a lot of money

Is Pato just choosing to ignore the fact that when we actually have a goalkeeper we have been defensively great (mendy has conceded 1 goal in 6 games). Thiago Silva looks fantastic at Chelsea. Zouma looks great atm. The fullbacks have been excellent. The problem has clearly been dreadful personnel like Alonso/Emerson, Kepa/Caballero or Christensen/Rudiger that just aren’t good enough. Sometimes the players you have are just so bad that you can’t really do anything

Rashford hasn't improved under Ole he's just playing more minutes. If you take out his penalties from last season his goal contribution ratio was about the same as under Mourinho. And his general play is actually worse, I would say. This season remains to be seen but it looks like he's started better. It helps that his three best games the opposition were terrible. PSG and Leipzig were shockingly bad.

Spurs weren't even with West Ham. Spurs battered West Ham and should have been 6-0 up by the hour mark. They took their foot off the gas and West Ham mounted a comeback in the 84th minute, only equalizing with the flukiest shot Lanzini will ever score in his life. In addition, Spurs peppered Newcastle's goal for 90 minutes before the ref made the 2nd-worst penalty decision I've ever seen gifted the Toon an undeserved point. If either of those games had been won, then Tottenham would be top of the league, and if both had been, they would be clear by 3 whole points. It's fair to say that we gained 3 points when perhaps we only deserved 1 vs WBA or Burnley, then that balances out and our position is well-earned. This run against the big boys will be the real test and indication, but don't forget that since Mourinho took over a year ago, only City and Liverpool have taken more league points than Spurs. I'm not saying we will win the league, but don't think that jump in points is as impossible as Joe thinks...
