I would argue, Klopp, ancelotti, potter, Nuno, pep, Bielsa, hassenthutel and Brendan Rogers are all better managers than Mourinho rn, he will prolly get spurs going and they are the 3rd spot favourites rn But his last two jobs shows his flaws. I still don’t understand what’s EG. I know it means expected goals... but in my opinion stats like that make 0 sense in football. How can we average/measure something like that? Goals per shot? Goals per chance? Goals per minute? Goals every crescent moon? One stat that should exist is the hockey assist. Sometimes the second to last pass is the key for the goal. Lucas Lima nope, no degree in statistics. But I have a Masters in breakfast cereals.... Captain Crunch is my fav. Even after your eloquent soliloquy I have no idea what that brings to any tactics or moments in the game. Roberto Firmino is screwed if we use any of these weird mathematics in the actual game. I ve thought you would mention Aston Villa here, honestly seeing them doing so well is even more of a shock, after almost getting relegated last term and now not only are they still remaining undefeated, but winning ALL games against the likes of Liverpool and Leicester is nothing short of impressive. Everton certainly do have money, and it was only a matter of time until some bigger signings would get them back on track, but I'am worried about the upcoming fixtures without Richarlison, away to Southampton and Newcastle might prove a tricky challenge.

I think for Spurs, League Cup and Top 4 is probably the most realistic. FA Cup would be a really good trophy but not without a 5th place. Europa Cup win is probably the only trophy I would take without a top 5 finish.

Some people on here about how Everton are a GK away from winning the league. I think people are getting carried away with their signings and the way they have been playing in the first few games..Yes they have assembled a good team with squad depth, winning the title or even coming close to it is just not even remotely possible. We are only a few games in and it is impossible for Everton to maintain this momentum. Also teams like Liverpool and and City despite not playing well will start coming to the fore around Christmas time. I see lot of people saying City or Liverpool will finish outside the top 4...no chance! They've been there, they've done that and they will fight back and also that is exactly the time may be around Jan/Feb that Everton will start falling off the pace..I fear the longer this run of winning goes the faster Everton will fall off the pace...Once the downslide happens, they'll just collapse like a sack of potatoes (no pun)

@@FootballDaily he was signed for the u23 team but Baines retired. Was given a chance in carabao cup and has been a revelation. I believe he may end up further forward, very much like a young bale. Electric pace beats anyone and decent decision making. A bit raw but in a year or so could be phenomenal.

Plus beat Leipzig and Juventus to the signature, so not too bad at all. If Leipzig wants to sign a young French player, he is most likely going to be a very good player.

38.45 ole in 100%. He is the first manager in 8/9 years who is trying to get rid of all of the deadwood and bring in quality hungry young players who will make this squad much better going forward. (Bar Cavani and Telles who were his back-up options) (failed by the board) I still want to see 11 to 15 players leave next summer (not joking) and ole is the only one with the balls to do that. A Mourinho would have never sold Lukaku for example to take a gamble on youth. I agree tactically he is not good enough but he is what the club desperately needs atm.
