Map honestly isnt that great compared to Reforma, Esterlon, ProMods, Carribean, or even Pacific Map imo. There's a ton of "legacy" models dating back to 2016 that are still being used with Great America which has always been a turn off for me personally.

In the Wyoming DLC because I'm from Wyoming I noticed some things weren't very accurate and they missed like three towns

Some of the smaller towns are missing in Oregon as well along I5. Makes sense though, they kinda have to compress the map or it would be huge.

I don't think that Montana or Texas will come out after 1.44's full release. If I had to guess, that'll be 1.45, which will very likely be this summer. Now if SCS proves me wrong, then great. My hopes are just not that high.

Texas is very big, so Montana might come first.

In fact, after looking into the parts of Texas and Montana that border the current map in 1.44 (yes, I'm in the OB), I saw more complete areas in Texas than in Montana, which makes me think that Texas could come first (not to mention that, including pre-development, it's been in development for 3 whole years now). I'll be surprised if Montana does come first, but there's no guarantee.

You’ve got to keep in mind the map isn’t 1:1 so scs can’t add everything and every town.

I know, but they can add more detail to the cities they do have. Also they have changed the scale before they can do it again if they wanted, though that is unlikely.

@@TheFormalPickle true. I do think that they will add more with reworks and stuff. With every dlc you can see clear improvements to their models and details. I think what is really holding them back is the game engine. I think a fresh new game would be helpful.

@@davomate1323 I honestly feel the same way. They developed the game on DX9 in 2016 which was already old by that point. And the update to DX11 didn't really seem to help much honestly. Idk if it's just them not knowing how to use it properly, or if these are just aspects of atrophy over time of the game engine itself. I too have felt like they kind of just need to start from scratch. Something like UE5 could be really useful at this point for a game like ATS if they could figure out how to utilize it properly
