I like eucalyptus but finding very hard to grow them as the plc where I live is very hot.bdw I also want to know if i should trim away dead part of eucalyptus or leave it like that?

​@vekalizhimo1225 leave it, they always come back as long you WATER THEM, just dont put them into shock by overwatering, if its grey but but still has some fully green leaves it just needs some sun, i mean they are made for our climate 🇦🇺 so the heat aint gon matter. happy growing 😁

There are over 700 species of eucalyptus most of them endemic to Australia. I really took it for granted how amazing this family of plants are. There are eucalyptus forrests visible from my house and I have 3 species on my property. The oldest tree is probably about 80 years old. If ever anyone visits Australia they should spend time in the different eucalypt environments and forrests, they all have a unique atmosphere and smell. The oil from these trees creates a blue hue to the air around the mountains, most notably the blue mountains near Sydney. The Dandenong ranges are full of red and bluegums and enormous tree ferns. You can also see some of the tallest and oldest forrests in the world in Tasmania with the mountain ash eucalypt which grow to over a hundred meters tall and live for centuries.

Fortunately, the eucalyptus oil is useful in salves. Unfortunately, that baby blue variant's surface powder can be deadly for some as it becomes airborne. Highly allergic. Smells wonderful. Find out before bringing it home.

The only downside to Eucalyptus trees is they are very flammable and known to explode, but other than that they are pretty trees that smell good. Just don’t plant if you are in California as they are invasive and already abundant there, but I’m sure they are great trees in their native land of Australia.
