I just got back from Santiago with my family, and because of your video on the National Natural History Museum I made sure that we visited and it was amazing! Thank you for helping me sleep, while also being the best museum guide!

Hope you had a good stay! Even though I cannot help but feel bad about the state of downtown Santiago, including the museum’s neighbourhood. 10 years ago it was clean and safe, now it looks like a war zone 😔

Very nice. Would love one of these about the history of the Inuit, often overlooked and very little information online, definitely deserves some light, especially with your level of care and detail. Amazing work as always.

Yes! I'm Canadian, and last year for English my friend and I had to research a myth and we chose the Inuit myth of Sedna. It was so interesting and I was very surprised at the lack of information available. I'm super interested in Inuit legends, I'd love to see a video on it!!!

I was never particularly interested in typical European History as taught in school and written by the conquering "victors", but I am fascinated by the underdogs, "lost" cultures, and ancient history, especially the builders of the megalithic structures we can't even replicate in our current "advanced" society! Going to love this, thankyou!

I have a correction to make. Early in the video you say that cradles of civilization in the old world existed in India, Mesopotamia, Egypt, and china. If by cradle you mean urbanized living then you got it right, but if you mean places where farming was invented it wasn’t quite right. Farming was invented in only 2 places in the old world. The first was the Fertile Crescent, which stretched the levant up to turkey and back down to Mesopotamia. The Indus Valley civilization didn’t invent farming, it was spread there from the crescent in the west. Same goes for Egypt, where is spread from across the Sinai. China invented agriculture independently, but the last one is actually in the New Guinea highlands. People don’t really talk about that one though, since no great urban civilization emerged there, and no great monuments were left for us to marvel at like the rest of the old world. you are completely correct in your statement about the new world however, complex urbanized societies developed alongside agriculture completely independently in the Andes and in Mesoamerica.
