Its a treat not to see you in the hospital. Im so happy that a drug has helped to keep you out of the hospital for so long now. Sure you still have headaches but you can have them at home in your own bed. Ollie can be retired. What a special Chritmas's these are for you.

Seeing you at home, not in hospital, singing, laughing hard, not being afraid that when you cough you won’t stop, going for a walk in the cold........it’s amazing. I hope some of the scientists who work on these projects realise how much difference they have made. However long this works for you for, what a spectacular respite from the unrelenting progress of cf. Congratulations on ten years. Thank you for showing us joy even when things aren’t going to plan. Do they make animal beds large enough for humans? They look really tempting. I had a migraine which started when I stopped work on Wednesday and has just about gone now. Just decorated tonight, 26th. So that was nice. Been good to not have to be staring at the computer trying to think about work though. Really appreciating the time off.

Oh my goodness, your truly moving comment about Trikafta (sp?) brought me to tears. As a former pediatric RN, I've just seen the profound impact that it has had for so many CF patients (from former patients of mine to people like Mary that I have never met, but I have followed for years). That medication is definitely a gift from God!!!

I just found myself complaining about my Christmas here because my Dad died a few days before Christmas four years ago, and I’ve been reading from people who are truly lonely, and I thought to myself that I should stop it! Dad loved the Lord, and is now with him for eternity. He’s waiting to greet us when we arrive, and he always knew that Jesus was the gift God gave this world over 2000 years ago! No more complaining from me. I have a roof over my head, food in my stomach, and the blessing of a Mom who takes care of me while I take care of her. There is a lot that is not ideal in my life, but God gave us the greatest gift on Christmas. Including the fact that my Dad has been saved, and that Mom and I hopefully will be too, when our times come. The rest is all noise. Thank you for setting me straight without even knowing it.

Holidays can definitely be hard after losing loved ones. Even when they know the Lord, we still miss them. I think that's ok. It creates a longing in us for eternity, when there will be no more sadness or death anymore, and everything will be very good.

Mary and Peter you obviously had a very Merry Christmas along with Ollie and Harry. I live in North Carolina up in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Parkway in Surry Co, which is the hometown of Andy Griffith. He based his TV show on his hometown of Mount Airy. It had been a while since I last watched a video of yours because life has been crazy for us. But I wanted to tell you that I was blown away at the amazing changes in Mary. That medication is a miracle worker. I had gotten afraid of watching your channel because you had gotten so sick and I didn’t want anything to happen to you and frankly I have been going through the wringer the last 10 years as I have battled multiple spinal cord injuries, breast cancer, a highly infectious life threatening infection that spread to my brain, blood, spinal/brain fluid, bone and basically throughout my body undetected for 11 months even though I was dealing with every neurological symptom out there while going through daily radiation treatments while recovering from a 10 hour surgery that was 2 spinal surgeries done back to back that was complicated by my tongue being injured and swelling and compromised my airway cutting oxygen to my brain that kept me hospitalized for a month and was followed up with 2 weeks as an inpatient at the physical rehabilitation center to help me regain my strength and muscle so I could relearn how to walk and do everyday tasks now that my cervical spine is fused on 3 sides. Long story that includes me almost dying 5 different times and 14+ surgeries and surgical procedures done over the last 10 years and not including the radiation treatments and chemo treatments for breast cancer and endometrial cancer. My husband and I both lost both of our parents and had the rest of our families fall apart. So you might understand why I was scared to check in on you because frankly I didn’t know how it would affect me if something happened to you. So when a friend posted something linked to you and it was positive things I got brave enough to check Instagram before going to your channel. I was so thrilled to see how healthy you looked and full of energy which was a complete change from before. I have been praying for you and that the doctors would find a way to help you and it looks like they did and I couldn’t be more happy for you. I wish there was a cure for CF and that no one should have to suffer like you and many others have over the years. I look forward to seeing what other amazing things you will get to do and see as your health improves. 🤗👍🏻❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🎄

It should come with a chocolate each day, took, or whatever the person can eat. I have fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, depression and chronic migraine. I take 11-13 tablets a.m., 2 at noon, and 6 p.m.
