I’m sorry for your loneliness. I hope it gets somewhat better over time. When my mother died in 1994, that was the first time I ever really saw my dad cry and the problem was he couldn’t really stop crying. It was really hard, so hard and my kids were third and sixth grade. I’m the youngest kid, and now both sisters have died besides my parents, so I’m you might say the only kid left. I’m thankful I have my two adult children, especially because after 30 years of marriage plus 4 being separated, my husband and I finally divorced. It’s hard to spend your whole entire life with someone since 16 years old, and then all of a sudden you are alone. Although, not really all of a sudden. I was alone for years inside the marriage. I saw your dog 🐶 in your channel picture on the side there. Dogs can sure lift our moods. At least they sure do for me. Take care❤❤❤✌🏻

I know loneliness through a bad circumstance. I was married 42 years and he abandoned me in another state. Protecting his lies are the most important thing to him. There is so much more to the story but I was alone for 2 years, spent holidays alone. I feel for you. That is the most awful feeling. Is there friends or family members you can reach out to to spend time with?

yes that's true!! That Mary's life has come to a full circle since the taking of trikafta a miracle drug that bought a dramatic turnaround in Mary's health condition and now having Elijah who is turning 2 in December plus the new foster baby that joined the family in july.. There is in much of anymore to tell when it comes to share on the vlogs right now . and Peter s new job at a church in Durham NC full time . now would be good time to close the KZbin chapter and move on to next phase of whatever life brings you and its other projects.. Furthermore KZbin is not really A platform that doesn't generate enough income to sustain a good life and put food on the table for a large families its too point that you need a Second job or a full time career that generates the income and pay the bills and yearly tax returns that need filing . plus to pay insurance for your Home and vehicles and overall heath expenses!! And one day like other Companies it would one day close or get bought out by someone else..

Eight years ago, my son's doctor told us "He might have cystic fibrosis". He was 2 weeks old, I was a new mom, and I was terrified. I held him and cried, because I heard so many horrible things that came along with the diagnosis. I found your channel and I fell in love with you both as people. Honestly I found you guys when I was in high school in 2015 and my health had been slowly declining because of a genetic illness and the first few videos I watched just made me cry and that’s because I had never once met someone who also struggled with their health. I finally felt seen and I watched every single video for years because it was my lifeline when no one understood. When trikafta came out and I saw the change in Mary’s health and subsequently you’re whole life I cried again because it’s what we all hope for if you have chronic health problems, a miracle cure and if there’s anyone that deserves that it’s you guys because you’ve given so much to this community. You guys have literally gotten me through highschool, I have 4 weeks left until I graduate and it would’ve been so much harder to get to this point if I hadn’t found you guys. Since I started watching I’ve gotten a diagnosis and gone through major depression and anxiety and changed schools and started medication for the first time. I’m coming up to a lot of change in the next few weeks and months which is scary but remembering it is just a season and not forever is comforting. I started watching you guys pretty near to the beginning of when you started. I was in an unhappy and abusive relationship, convinced that there was nothing better out there for me. When I found you guys, you quickly became a little light in my every day. I watched you each day after work and found such joy in your joy and it helped me be brave and face each day. I finally got out of that relationship and my life improved and I didn't watch you every day or almost at all, not because I stopped caring but because I felt like you guys were friends in my corner where I could find safety and joy and strength when I needed it. It was you guys who actually helped teach me there was more out there then the abuse and I'm incredibly grateful to you. You have helped so many people. I appreciate you two and your kindness. Mary I hope you see this at some point.I found you guys at the start of the pandemic and watched all your videos start to finish. Little did I know how much they'd help me later on. A few months into watching your vlogs, I got the worst infection of my life and your hospital vlogs helped me through a long hospital stay. In April 2022 I got diagnosed with asthma (which I know is nothing compared to CF) but I was scared so much...my first time doing PFTs, I referred back to your videos to know what to expect and to calm my nerves. And every asthma attack I have where I feel like I'm actually gonna cough my lungs out I remember you before Trikafta and tell myself if you Mae it through all that I'll be OK. Even now, when I wake up on a bad chronic pain day and want to stay in bed, I get up, fill up my "do what you think you can't do" water bottle and do just that. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!

We've been missionaries on 4 continents, serving since 1998. Good byes are hard, even if God's gracious provision is the motivation. Please enjoy God's grace as your celebration and grief mingle. His grace is so abundantly sufficient! I've loved my homeschooling journey, and have celebrated and grieved 2 graduating and leaving us for the States, one leaving for boarding school in another country, and a wedding during my years of watching you guys. Grieving and celebration... intermingled by His grace. Praying for you as you grow on.
