I admire their positive attitude towards everything coming at them. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 17 years and I still aspire to have Mary and Peter's positive spirit. (I have health issues and I end up getting panic attacks from being so scared from the health issues) So glad I have found this channel. I have been tested for CF because of my uncontrollable asthma and lung collapsing 3x. You two truly give me hope

Even if you're not the one that's gone through surgery being the one supporting and loving the one going through hard health problems is also very hard, so making sure the one supporting you is emotionally okay is very important. When my father was in the hospital with blood clots in his lungs the second someone asked me if I was okay I balled, thanks to experimentally surgery he's okay now but the people supporting you need to know that their emotional health is also important. I know Mary understands that, she's so sweet.

Peter is Def her soul mate, and Ollie is their little fur baby. Mary, she is such an amazing person. The only thing u can liken her illness to for me is a really bad chest cold(but way more painful and hard, and of course 24/7 for Mary). Mary still does workouts, PT, her meds, countless surguries, all with a huge light up the world smile. My wish for this year is that maybe some form of medication is made or found that helps you breath better, and feel better. Mary and Peter, a truly inspirational couple.

I always think it's so impressive how service dogs do in places they've never really had training. Like, I was in the hospital for a couple days last week and my service dog Sadie had never been anywhere other than a doctors office - but she was an absolute rock star and just sort of knew instinctively where to be and how to behave. Especially with the noises and things she's not used to, her care of me just overrode any fear or nervousness she might've felt. Ollie is such a sweetheart. Keeping you guys in my thoughts and prayers, hope your pain levels come down soon.

From someone who has had 5 abdominal surgeries and two c-sections...if you need to cough hold a pillow to your incision site! It'll help with the pain and make you feel less like you're going to split open :) Oh and move around as much as possible and take the colace! Moving around will help you feel better (even though it doesn't sound like it).

Go Mary go!!! My son prefers the fabric feeding tube covers over the gauze. The gauze tickles him and annoys him. Etsy has many stores that sell them. I love that they are washable. So glad you can get your proper nutrition and calories now. My son has had a mic-key button, a mini one and GJ over the last 11 years. Between the 2 buttons the mic-Key leaks the least for him. So sometimes it takes trial and error. Good Luck!

Disney Gamer that may be a possibility but I think the corners of the gauze are kinda floppy and tickle his stomach. He pulls them off. The reusable ones we use snap in place and don't seem to bother him. It could be an alllergy though. I never thought about that. Many adhesives and things blister his skin.

On lonely nights watching your channel comforts me and makes me laugh, and on rough mornings it inspires me to face the day. "Do what you think you can't do! Uh huh!" People tell me I'm a positive person, but man Mary, you've got me beat! You truly know how to find the joy in every day. There may be limits on our lives, but there are no limits on the joy we experience and our appreciation for the little moments and amazing people in our lives. Your channel has been a blessing to me. So proud of you Mary! You are such an inspiration to us and so many others..I really enjoyed seeing how wonderful Ollie was and how he wanted to be so close to you..just beautiful. I couldn't help but cry seeing you in pain and how touching it was seeing that bond with you and Peter and Ollie.. You are strong and you got this..GOD'S GOT THIS! Love you and keep up the wonderful positive attitude and healing!

Hang in there, Mary! I've had 10 abdominal surgeries and they're rough but you can do it! Rocking in a rocking chair helps the gas escape quicker. And holding a pillow to your incision when you have to cough can help with the pain. Praying for you!! ((Hugs)) 💜💜

Bless your heart. I admit I had some flashbacks from my own post surgeries when watching this. You are brave to share. Prayers for your continued recovery.

For the 17 people who disliked this video, you are rude and disrespectful and I hope I never see you on this channel again because this video was amazing. I wish you a good and pain free recovery Mary!
