I recently bought a cheaper version of the ‘Mary trolley’ aka the IKEA trolley that your vest lives on Mine has my diabetes supplies and combler and my tablets etc. Also the thermometer o2 sat pulsimeter and the remote for the 📺 Other stuff in clear plastic bins. Date checking is so important. I get a chunky marker and write the date clearly so it makes stock checking easier Used to work in a teaching hospital pharmacy as a stock checking assistant

I was watching an older video of yours where you said "There's no perfect magical pill to make the infection go away." (10/3/15 at about 12:00) It's so wonderful to see the impact of Trikafta. Makes perfect sense why you'd hold on to the boxes! Makes me hopeful that the medical community is continuing to work hard and we might not know what is just around the corner to help so many.

It makes total sense to use tranexamic acid for a lung bleed but as a pharmacist I hadn't thought or heard of using it for that. In Australia it's most common use is to reduce heavy menstrual bleeding.

A little life hack for keeping your medical closet and even your kitchen pantry organized. Get an over-the-door shoe organizer, the kind that has the plastic/vinyl sections, and put things like the alcohol swabs in. For the kitchen they work great for organizing spices, drink mixes, food prep utensils, sauce packets and whatever other small things you have.

Your medical supply closet works well for you, Mary. Like anything, supplies get out of place from time to time, products expire and new supplies need to be ordered to replace outdated ones, so you need to go through your supplies periodically. You have a great system and you know how important it is to keep on top of what you have in your closet. Great job! God bless and see you tomorrow! 🤗❤️❤️🙏🏼😘🐕🐱

I get it about having the lung function machine at home cold become a negative thing. In April I started with a 3 1/2 month bought of Asthmatic bronchitis. (I have moderate to severe asthma) I experienced the worse breathing that I have in life. Even worse then times I had pnemonia. So with the treatment my Dr also had me monitoring my o2 level. I found that I had the meter on my finger the majority of the day and I was obsessed with the numbers.

The extension cord for traveling is great. I use one with surge protection because you never know what the weather is going to be like. If you have a lot of stuff then a large plug that has plenty of outlets is a good idea. Some of those plugs cover over at least one outlet making it impossible to use every one. Have you thought of making up a computer list for each shelf? You could keep an inventory of how many items you want to have and how many you need, whatever works. Or make a list of how many items you want to keep on hand and then do your count for how many items are actually available. You could use one of those grease pencils. Just a thought. I imagine you already put new arrivals in back of what you already have so there’s reduced chance of expired items. Do you have a free clinic that would take donations for things close to expiring? I’m interested in knowing which one of the food delivery services you like the best since you’ve tried several. Any thoughts? Thanks for sharing!

I have plastic shoe box and slightly larger sized boxes. I have one with the weekly meds. One with backups and extras of weekly meds and less common but need to be handy. Then on top I have an open bin with the ones you might grab in discomfort that happens often like pain or nausea or anxiety meds and stomach med. in that I have some tissues, lotion and my daily meds box. My meds like those all live on a bedside “table” which is actually one of those wire microwave carts with three shelves. I can do a photo if you are interested. The other supplies like first aid, orthopedic and sick time meds go in plastic bins under my bathroom sink and I have a box of knee brace supplies, hiking and socks go on a shelf in my bedroom in shoe boxes and baskets from Micheal’s. They don’t match but are neat and I can find things. I use a knee brace and walking pole to walk my dog and they go by my front door with dog walking stuff like leash and dog jacket and my most commingle used jacket. I prob need to get back on cpap I have in a separate bin with head straps and extra filters tubes and etc parts. I keep the manual and the less needed stuff in its transport case in my clothing closet top shelf. LOL. But yeah my microwave cart night stand is my med supply cart. Oh I also keep a covid or other illnesses bin under bathroom sink so I’m prepared with asthma supplies, cough meds, thermometer, Tylenol. I also keep in my kitchen a sickness bin of like chicken and Stars soup, Gatorade, crackers and easy Mac and cup version mashed potatoes for gentle on stomach type needs foods. I made ahead some real mashed potatoes and froze in “dose packs” in my freezer in baggies. Lol. Really basic first aid is in a bin and simple bandaids and antibacterial stuff for a standard day cut is just in a drawer in my bathroom also. At one point I had so many sinus and asthma supplies I put them in a closet drawer rack in one drawer. I now try not to let them overload me on extras bc they risk expiring and take up much needed storage space. Your supplies look nice and neat. My partner used to have so many immediate need supplies so I wanted to get an actual cabinet that could go in the bedroom and closed so we didnr have to look at them but they were immediately avail. We had some in bathroom also that were needs and I made a box for those also haha. It’s crazy how much space this stuff takes up if one or more in the house have chronic illness.

Positive vivid test?! If you mean Covid test, you can't find it because it doesn't exist. About nine months ago Mary and Peter both got really sick with a virus. Mary was tested for Covid as a precaution. It was not positive. They got better and they got tested for Covid antibodies because Mary's immune system doesn't work right and her test might have been a false negative. There is no one video. Mary was sick for at least ten days.
