The 2023 U.S. Open will be held at Los Angeles Country Club's North Course, which George Thomas redesigned in 1927-28, improving on Herbert Fowler's 1921 design. In this video, we talk to Gil Hanse and Geoff Shackelford, who led a restoration of Thomas's version of L.A. North. Hanse and Shackelford discuss the course, its history, and how it will examine the abilities of the world's best golfers.
