For anyone skeptical that TFB have changed, you HAVE to see them perform the songs from Back on Top live. While this album is less raw than their previous ones, it regains a lot of the emotionality when you see them in person. The way Brian sang the "Hell bent on self destruction" part in this song was so intense it gave me CHILLS. Go see them whenever you can, I promise you won't be disappointed.

I saw tfb for the second time in February. Met some great people. One in particular, Ashton. He was such a kind soul, he even let me in front of him for several songs so that I could be at the barrier. We got high and sang in the rain at the top of our voices waiting for the band to come out to their tour bus. We met the band together and then danced in a bar after (and then we freaked out because tfb were later in the same bar). Despite the fact that it was the night I met one of my favorite bands, Ashton was the best part of this memory. He passed away a couple of weeks ago and even though I only met him once I can't stop breaking down into tears. I really missed out on having a close friendship with someone I really wanted to know. RIP Ashton, I'm so sad we can't meet up for more gigs like we said we would in the future. I met you once and I miss you. So many people have had the most beautiful things I have ever heard in my life said about you.

His parents were out of the town for two weeks and as I can remember, we litterally destroyed the interior of the whole freaking house no jokes. I don’t live in West Virginia but I am, however, in Virginia right now with relatives since today is Thanksgiving. And in all honesty, I’m pretty glad I don’t live here! Not that it’s a bad state. The mountains and overall scenery is beautiful but I am from New York so maybe I’m just used to my lifestyle since I both juggle the urban and suburban lifestyle.
